I had Swain & Sons install a pair of mufflers on my vehicle. I got home to notice they were both uneven & poorly mounted. I went back a couple of days later & the installer seemed surprised. "Yeah, they are a little crooked." He did a quick repair without any additional charges. He made a couple of excuses & didn`t give me any install options. Not once did he make any measurements, and was... view more finished in a matter of minutes. They were straight, but not where I wanted them. He was definitely not happy to see me return. A couple of months later, the weak welds on one side broke. I cut my losses & went to a "quality" & reputable shop in LaGrange, Ga. In less than 30 minutes, my mufflers were re-aligned & re-hung. I noticed that he made several measurements, welds, trips to bend, & micro adjustments. He shook my hand, smiled, & thank me for my business. I will make the drive for any exhaust work in the future. I felt like a real customer & the cost was 1/2 that of Swain & Sons.
