Went for an alignment on my 06 MINI Cooper. Waited 2 hours for them to tell me they couldn`t do it. Service Advisor tried to insult me by saying that a "German" car required expertise they didn`t have. Back in the day I used to be an alignment tech so when I challenged him on why Germans cars were so different he told me that he had 25 years of experience and that if I didn`t like his answer I could leave. He shared ... view morethat he only accepts "toe and go" alignment business and that my car was going to take too long. I left and in less than 5 minutes of Googling I had the answer that the front toe is changed with a tie rod adjuster just like ANY car made since 1930. Rear camber is adjusted with an ecsentric on a trailing arm just like most IRS cars made in the last 15 years. Rear toe is not adjustable so if needed the trailing arm brackets must be loosed and persuaded into place with a bar or light tap from a hammer. He didn`t want to do that so he wasted 2 hours of my life. Will never go back!
