This is a GREAT place to get your car serviced. Mike Smith with Total Automotive, Inc came highly recommended. I was a little nervous since everyone we had used up to this point as a mechanic was dishonest; I really did not trust anyone!!! Mike changed my view. Finally, I had found someone that would not rip me off -I found him to be the most honest mechanic around, very helpful-great advice on my vehicles (we have h... view moread 3). My husband and I will never take our cars to anyone else. I really appreciate Mike taking the time to get to know us not just as customers but as people. We have been using Total Automotive for the past 6 years and knowing what good hands we are in for our automotive needs is one less thing to have to stress about!!!

Response to Very Disappointed..No good deed goes unpunished!

It truly amazes me when people spend valuable time spreading lies about innocent people to make themselves feel better about the poor decisions they make on their own!!! Obviously Scott was never a fan of Total Automotive because if he were he would have been a real man and contacted Mike before he launched his vicious attack of lies all over the internet. Mr. Scott Routt brought a vehicle in for a pre-purchase ins... view morepection to our shop. There is usually a charge for this service but Mike inspected this vehicle for free. Mike let Scott know at that time that he would be charged for any future inspections but that this one was on him. A short time later Scott purchased a different vehicle on his own without ever contacting us for a pre-inspection of the vehicle. The vehicle was in poor condition and required work to be road worthy. Scott was working with limited funds and Mike did what he could to work with Scott and his financial situation. A month later the vehicle purchased by Scott blew the engine because it did not have any oil in it. At that time Scott thought it was appropriate to call Mike at Total Automotive and ask to have a used engine installed for free. He accused Mike of not adding any oil to the vehicle 30 days earlier. His accusations were ridiculous because an engine would not run a day without oil. Mike offered to install a used motor for a reduced fee for Scott because he was sympathetic to his situation but Scott doesn`t seem to understand why Mike won`t install a used motor in a vehicle that Scott purchased on his own and failed to maintain it causing the motor to blow. One question for you Scott.......How is it Mike`s fault and why do you think he should replace the bad motor for free??? Seriously??? Anyone that knows Mike knows he`s a great guy who would do anything he could to help someone in need. Shame on you Scott for the lies you have been spreading.....we have lost all respect for you too!

I was a huge fan and a custome...

I was a huge fan and a customer of Mike Smith at Total Automotive for 2 years. Not any more. I bought a used jeep for my daughter and paid Total Automotive a $1000 to make it dependable. The jeep`s engine froze up in less than 30 days. My daughter only drove 15 miles a day. Mike felt no responsibility in the matter. He offered to charge me $2300 for a used motor that I could buy for $1400 and charge me a discounted ... view more$1300 to put the motor in. I found another mechanic who will do it for $700. Needless to say, I`ve lost all respect for Total Automotive and Mike Smith.
