LOST loyal Mercedes Customer, ...
Mercedes is over rated they have lots of options but good luck getting the dealership to fixing them after they stop working. I had our 2004 S430 with 51K miles in for service and spent in the last 1.5 years $11,300 in service. All for nothing they now told me to go to other dealership after incorrectly installing my new $1,300 review mirror. Be careful what dealership you buy and service with. I can`t say they`re al... view morel like this but Atlanta Classic Cars in Duluth GA is worthless all the way to the general manager Bruce Lamb they just do what they can and tell you to figure out the rest. Of course after taking your money. Maybe the didn`t get the MEMO "The best or nothing" ?ˆ” at Atlanta Classic Cars.?»?

Stay Away from Service
I brought my fine running car in for routine service. Four visits later the car is running poorly and the suggested repairs are nearly half the value of the car. STAY AWAY!!!!

Editorial review from Citysearch
After 14 years and 3 new vehicles... Bye-bye Mercedes....
This is not about routine maintenance. Mercedes are not cheap to keep. This is about what I call ""potential screw jobs"". And this may happen at any dealership but I feel disappointed that I went from giving them business to feel like I`m being given the business. And MBUSA and ACC both contacted me making soothing noises but there was
no substanc... view moree behind it. IF ACC was really concerned, they would have pulled our vehicles files before they called, so they could talk knowledgeably. The greatest problem is the interface person between you and the mechanic doing the job. Often times I knew more about the mechanics of the problem than the guy I was talking to. I won`t be making that mistake with the new make and dealership.
Now for the facts in reverse order. The 2003 ML was in for an oil change. Someone closed something in the hood and took off the paint on the tip of the hood. (Straw - camel`s back) Found it when I was home detailing the vehicle. At that same time I asked about 2-3 drops of oil I was seeing on the garage floor on occasion. OK, the seal between the transmission and engine -$2300. BUT... after careful monitoring, those drops only appear after the vehicle has sat for a week. Maybe it would be nice to know how critical it was? Previous, ML bench seat down and can`t get it up. How much to remove seat and raise? Don`t know??? (Husband fixed it with optical camera) Now 2007 E, new phone won`t sync with bluetooth. Says we need piece of hardware with new software ($350). Husband insists on trying software upgrade - worked - free. Still E, since day one double thump in trunk. Please fix, can`t find it (again and again)... finally I insist on a mechanic. 5 minute explanation and the guy says thinks he knows. Fixed the next day. Bad remark - ""We won`t charge you even though the car is out of warranty""! Better remark - ""Please forgive us for taking FOUR ****ing years to fix the problem""! Back to the ML - trip computer
dies, no big EXCEPT it flashes lights when locking/unlocking vehicle. How much? $923. Nope but missed it. Husband researches online. Buys chip for $100 and carefully replaces it. Works fine! Still ML, had 35k miles on it and heater in front seat burns through. Says we wore it out???? Husband 220 tops and me alot less. $700+ Paid for it. In hindsight, that was a defect. Also, currently MB offers my husband`s company`s employees a 3% discount on purchases. Was that true in 2007? They never said anything even though they ran a credit check and would see his employer. Don`t know for sure but suspicious. And
overall, the time spent working on my vehicles never seemed to match the activity viewed from above. There were other ""repairs"" over the years we paid for that I now question. From now on, I`ll use a local shop for maint and repairs on the ML and E since the warrantys are long gone.
Just be smart. Ask questions. Use the internet. And when necessary, ask to talk to a mechanic. Its YOUR money.

Beware
I have purchased many high line cars in Metro Atlanta including several purchases from other Mercedes dealerships in town.
Avoid Atlanta Classic cars.
High pressure. Misrepresentation. There are better places in town to purchase a MB.
