THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE

There is not enough room here to list all of the ways that these guys are terrible so I will put it like this; getting your car repaired over the last 30 years has changed alot for the better in most cases. Gordy Tire got left behind. From the moment you walk in you are treated rudly and as if you are bothering them, everything and everyone is dirty and they don`t know the meaning of fast and efficiant, everytime I... view morehave used them, my car is pushed to the back and never looked at until I call and demand it. To sum it up, there are many good repair shops out there, this is not one.

NOT WILLING TO ADMIT THEY MESSED UP

I went to get an oil change and left with a broken hood latch and brake sensor. My car didn`t have any problems before I took it in... now it`s going to cost me over $250 to fix it all. But, it`s not their problem or fault they say.

After changing the oil and replacing a headlight bulb, the guys had trouble closing the hood (I never had a problem before). They said they`d been trying to get it shut for abou... view moret 15 minutes. They came to get me so I could take a look. They slammed it a couple of times in efforts to get the latch to catch and even sat on the hood a bit. After a minute, I noticed that there was a large cable preventing the hood from closing They said there was no way that could have interfered. Really?! Even after slamming on the latch for 10 or 15 minutes?
Then, later on that evening, a brake light sensor came on and beeps whenever the car is in motion. They can`t figure out what is wrong and now I have to figure out who can fix it, and pay for a diagnostic to get it to stop beeping. Sorry guys, not helpful and I`m not a happy camper.

Would have been better just to admit your mistake and offer to pay to have the issues resolved.

Good honest shop

I`ve used Gordy for the majority of my auto repairs and maintenance.. They do good work and are priced competitively. Give them a shot. They blow Kauffman Tires out of the water.

Trustworthy and resonably priced

I absolutely love this place! My mother, both of my sisters and I all take our cars here. I never get the ""girl price"" for anything like I have at other mechanics. They are really helpful if you need to maintain a car on a budget ( In addition to being fairly priced, they are honest and straight forward about what needs to be fixed now and what can wait and for how long ). I have been taking my car to this loca... view moretion from the time I was 19 with a junker that broke all the time until now. I feel completely safe in relaying on them to help me get the most life out of my car. They also keep in good touch while your car is being worked on so that you know what is going on. I live on the other side of town and becaue of their fair and excellent service I am perfectly willing to wake up on Saturday moning at 7.00 to be first in line to drop my car off for an oil change. The few times I have been lazy and taken my car somewhere else, I am never treated as well, and am usually told that I need to make repairs that I don`t need. In short, I always end up back at Gordy so that I can get an honest assesment of what needs to be done, or so they can fix whatever it is that broke as a result of another mechanic`s slopieness (like that guy at goodyear that forgot to reattach an oil line after replacing my oil filter, causing oil to spill out of the engine and my car to start smoking) Gordy is the best!
