I first found Mr. Peter Hennessy`s name in a 2/12 "Automotive News" article. He was quoted due to the fact that he is Chairman of the Lexus Dealer Advisory Council. On 11/4/12, I asked his help in finding out why I had a 2 hour drive to my nearest Lexus Dealer, yet Mercedes, BMW, and Hyundai dealers are very close to my home. He not only found out, and diplomatically explained it to me, after going to Le... view morexus Corporate in CA on a business trip, but he also helped me find, and get, with his New Car Sales Mgr.`s help, a 2013 Lexus LS 460 with 18" vs. 19" wheels on it. For some unknown reason, Lexus Corporate was, at first, only sending the 18" wheeled LS 460`s to West Coast Lexus Dealers? So, Jay Burnett, the New Car Sales Mgr., suggested the "Pull Ahead" Program which was a new BOS Delivery System that reduced the lee time it takes to special order a new car from Japan from 90/120 days to 45/60 days. I was skeptical throughout the process, but it all worked out very well. I got the car I wanted, in the time frame I wanted it, and Mr. Hennessy kept his word to me that he would give me a price that I was comfortable with, on the exact car/options configuration that I wanted.
It was a pleasure dealing with a true professional like Mr. Hennessy who, although a very busy man, and who probably doesn`t usually work directly with sales prospects , was prompt in answering questions, and made sure I was taken care of even after he turned my over to others at his dealership. All the people at the dealership were very helpful and friendly, especially Eric Fischer, the sales person assigned to help us quickly learn our new car, when we picked it up after a 6 hour drive to get to Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta.
The only negative about my experience is that their Parts Department had totally different information regarding touch up paint for my new car than three other Lexus Dealer Parts Departments had. Mr. Burnett finally got to the bottom of the problem and told me "There was an issue with our system not showing the correct product." The touch up paint was part of my purchase, and the delay in getting it was no big deal, but I still don`t understand why their "system" showed something different than three other dealer`s systems. All Lexus "Parts" Systems should show exactly the same information on two different touch up paint part numbers. One is the "BC", or "base coat", and the other is the pearlescent top coat.

So in October I purchased a brand new IS F. Ever since I have had problems with wind noise, once it started raining it turned into a water leak problem. Have brought the car to them 3 times complaining about this problem, first time at the 1k mile service I told them I can hear wind coming into the car ( had not rained yet at this point ) and they said they found no problem, at the next service, my first Oil Change... view more I brought up that the air leak is still happening and again was told there was no problem. A few days later after it rained I noticed there was a TON of condensate on the interior of every window and when it warmed up that day after the rain stopped and the sun came out and the entire car was fogged up. I called Hennessy Lexus and told them about the problem and want to bring the car in. So next Monday I bring the car in they have it for about 6 hours and call me telling me they cant find any leak and that it must just be condensate from the air conditioner. I called the service manager and told him there is no reason an almost 70k dollar car should be leaking and he again told me its just the air conditioner condensation. Well before we just had a week of rain I had some stuff in my trunk, so and I go to take it out and everything was soaked and mildew or mold can be seen growing in the trunk. Contacted Lexus corporate and they have asked me to bring the car to another dealership to attempt one more repair. I suggest to everyone avoid Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta like the plague they do not care about anything but getting your money.

Our 1st experience was great!

Our 1st experience was great!
Thanks to Ms Adrienne!
She is a really nice person and easy to work with!
My description of sales person King Hardy would be totally different
Behind his smile is a true fake person that would lie/do anything in order to get the deal done (would even misrepresent the car)
Most important would be that any questions you have his answer was "Oh I don`t know anything about this car... view more, U know it better since you want to buy it"
That is a really unproffesional way & this guy should not represent a dealership with such reputation!
Since he earn my trust at the 1st purchase I just went ahead and believed everything he told me about the car
It turned out that car heater wasn`t working, windshield sprayer pump wasn`t working and 3 weeks later started having transmission problems...even he told me that car was inspected by their licensed mechanic and it`s fully functional without issues.
Less than 24h after purchase when car started showing all kind of issues I contacted him trying to take care of problem in a polite way
He refused to help telling me that is not his problem and also told me the stupidest sentence I ever hear from a supposably "professional sales person"
His words were the following "You was the one who contacted us and wanted to buy this car - Of course I was the one, because the car was listed on eBay for sale with the nicest description ever ( King must have forgot to include in the description all the issues this car had/has)
In my opinion a dealership with such reputation should not treat customers this way...especially returning customers
They must have forgot that life doesn`t end after one deal
He probably tough, stupid students!
By treating us in a better way could have been many more purchases down the road from Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta
Usually we upgrade to a different car every 2-3 years so that would be around 60-70 cars in our life time
Thinking in a long term this dealership lost a lot more by not taking care of our issue caused by their sales person King Hardy!

Liars and Excuses
I have never been so disgusted with a car company. Unfriendly, unrealistic, and unhelpful. Salesman was pushy and condescending and when he kept pushing upgrades I politely responded I wanted to keep the car at a certain price level ?ˆ“ his response was there is credit for that. The dealer had poor language and did not even know about the features on the car. When I refused to work off monthly payments number but the a... view morectual end cost of the vehicle salesman became very rude and heard him making a rude remark about me to another salesman, saying ?ˆ?I got me some poor white trash that wants a fancy car?ˆ?. Granted I came in with a old T shirt and jeans but if they had bothered to look at the car that I drove in on they might have sung a different song. Went down the road to Infinite and purchased a car cash. AVOID THE HENNESY BRAND OF DEALERSHIPS. Their motto is Lexus gave us a five star rating, I am sure they give that to almost any dealership and that does not mean you are looking out for your customer. Or they say we don?ˆ™t want this type of customer. You should want anyone who is willing and able to purchase your vehicles.
