Less than one year ago I had a rebuilt rear end installed in an 06 Volvo tract. Last Sunday evening the rear temp gauge began showing warm, I stopped for the night allowing it to cool down. The next mornig I continued on to my delivery, after arriving I discovered a bearing failure that now was allowing fluid to leak out the front of the housing. After contacting Tony Norman of Atlanta gear I was instructed to drive... view more the truck to the shop of their choice in Houston,after arriving there I had lost even more fluid. After inspection the confirmed a bearing failure. I then waited for six hours and no response from Tony Norman. I then contacted mr Norman only to have him imply that this was my fault,that I had ran it low on fluid. I even provided him with proof that the rear end had been serviced as recently as three weeks ago at which time two bolts were found loose,were then tightened and to pts of fluid were added to completly top it off.bottom line ...they have refused to honor their warranty.
