We were completely satisfied with our experience at this dealership. The people were friendly and honest, followed through on every commitment and the price we paid for our car was very fair. There were a couple of items that needed work when we bought the car - in both cases the repair became more challenging than originally expected; however, the dealership followed through with the work anyway and even filled t... view morehe gas tank when the work was completed. I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend this place and we will certainly shop here again in the future.

Don`t bother. Their valuations of vehicles are consistently high without any basis. If you want to deal with self-professed smart-asses, then go ahead and ask for Mike Dennis. Stereotypical used car sales guys. Caveat Emptor.

Very Disappointed
I am very disappointed. These guys seemed ok, but I bought a car from them and several weeks later the engine blew up. Now I am at a loss for over $2000 for a new engine. I tried to get help from them, they said I owned both halves if it is broken. What a deal. Don`t trust these guys. Liars

Happy customer
As a senior citizen, I have purchased many cars in my lifetime but I can not recall a better experience than the one that I had at Smart Cars in Acworth. My first observation was the friendly, no pressure atmosphere. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Their priorty was to help me find a car that I would like. The car that I purchased was fairly priced and has turned out to be one of my best cars ever. I don`t see h... view moreow anyone could have a bad experience at Smart Cars.

Repeat customer
I personally disagree with everything this person is saying about Smart Cars Inc. and I am willing to bet that most people would agree with me. Smart Cars Inc. is the nicest, most down to earth, pleasant experience I have ever had in a used car dealership. There vehicles are very nice and priced well. I will never by a car from anyone else again.

UPDATE Miserable Experience
Miserable Experience.
Bought a Subaru on 01/05/08, trading a Nissan in & paying additional 3750. Was hesitant & skeptical about coolant & engine, but sale rep had mechanic check my concerns out & assured me that if anything happened in a timely manner, they would fix. Took vehicle back & called them a numerous times about problems and got run around.
On 01-28-08, Subaru left me stranded after dark & in the rain, in... view more a construction zone of interstate 75. Tow truck...Rental Car.
Finally on 01-30-08 I traded Subaru back for my original Nissan. I basically paid nearly 4000 (plus tow truck fees, car rental fees & so on) to have my original vehicle back. I deperately tried to negotiate a fair deal with sales reps...offering to pay commissions, repairs on Subaru that were needed but not discussed prior to signing of contract, rental rates on Subaru for 3 weeks use...etc No Avail. No deal. They were keeping all of the 3750 plus I was out time taken off from work to take car back to them, rental car fees, towing etc.
On 01-31-08, I got a call from Smart Cars saying they would pay 600 towards blown gaskets in Subaru...Hmmmm, The Subaru & the my 3750 cash were already theirs...not mine.
On 03-05-08 I filed for a replacement title on Nissan, as clerk at court house advised me that title had never left my name & that if dealer had not given it back to me, it was all I could do.
On 3/19/08 I received a letter from state trying to fine me for lapse of insurance of Nissan. Insurance company advised that it was because dealer never filed papers with state showing that I did not own that vehicle during that time. Back to the courthouse I went & once staff reviewed Bills of Sales & insurance itemization, fines were dismissed.
A perfectly miserable experience...top to bottom
Since writing about Smart Cars Inc of Acworth, GA, they have called and sent letters threatening to sue me for exercising my freedom of speech. I advised them that I would gladly retract and publicly apologize for any false information, provided that they show me what is false...as I know of nothing that I have written to be untrue.
After getting letters from lawyers, certified mail responses, phone calls and an ample amount of time, I feel relatively secure that they have NOT provided me with such validation because they CANNOT.
So beware folks, these people may shaft you on your purchase and then try to bully you with threats of lawsuits should you write about it.
