BUYER BEWARE

Had a transmission ""rebuilt"" by this location back in June of 2009.took them 2 weeks to complete the job. I was then ordered to serve in Iraq for over a year, two months after having the transmission ""replaced"" in my vehicle. it is now a little over 2 years since rebuild. with less than 5000 miles since the work was done. and the transmission is overheating and slipping. called them up to see if they would rectif... view morey the situation in any way. and was told its out of warranty.. advised them of my documented military orders putting me overseas for over 12 months. and was again told. it is out of warranty.. BUYER BEWARE. If you enjoy being robbed by all means drop by and say hello, they have a very deceitful smile to offer when you hand them your hard earned money in this lousy economy. Let me also say I am having the entire transmission,converter and a brand new trans cooler installed for less than HALF what I paid these rip off artists. I thought about civil litigation but came to the conclusion that they are not worth more of my time or hard earned money. lesson learned.. Word of mouth goes a long way. I suppose these people do not care about the people that serve them in combat , let alone the average hard working people of this Great Country. Karma is a reality. All I ask is for you the consumer to research your options wisely before doing business with these people.Please do not make the same mistake I did.

Worst customer experience!

Avoid Orlando Transmission Repair at all costs. The absolute WORST customer experience of my life. Horrible communication. Never respected my needs or my deadlines. I had to chase down answers with repeated phone calls every time. I felt as if they were telling me what I wanted to hear half the time. I feel like if I take it back to OTR for them to honor their work, they will find a way to trap me in to paying more $$. Although my car is a 94 and it has 200k+ miles, I do not feel like I got anywhere near good customer service. If I could choose zero stars, I would.

Remanufactured transmission----Orlando Transmission Repair

I drive a used Mercedes Benz and whatever shop I go to they always try to make my quotes more expensive. This place wasn`t like that they quoted me a fair price and when i needed another part done they gave me options. I got it done for a fair price, they totally kept me up to date. They Go the Extra Mile!

My Jeep was at a different transmission shop for a second oppinion. that shop was supposed to call me the next day with an estimate but never did. come to find out they removed my transmission and took it all apart. Jim returned my phone call on a Sunday afternoon and talked to me about my situation, he gave me some valuable advise. They picked my Jeep up from the other shop at no charge to me. My transmission was no... view morew in a box in the back of the Jeep. Jim knew I had a time frame in which I needed my Jeep back in service. I had to pay more then I was anticipating but the other shop did not get one penny of my money! Jim and his guys took my tranny and gave me one that was already rebuilt with a 18k mi warranty and I had my Jeep back in two days!! They are all very polite and will take all the time you need to answer ALL your questions and make you feel comfortable that you are in good, trustworthy hands. Don`t waste your time like me and just take your car to them the first time!

Always fair and prompt!

Having three mature cars in my family, I`ve been here enough to develop a friendship with Jim and Mike. They have done one transmission, one differential, many tuneups over the years, brakes, leak repairs, and a/c repairs for me, great repairs every time. Great place for transmisison repair!!

The service and good vibes made me feel like I was in my dad`s shop years ago as a kid. I found this shop online and decided to give them a shot. The owner was very thorough and professional. he did a great job at a fair price on my Land Cruiser transmission and radiator. It was free!!!

The transmition was skipping in my Pontiac Grand Prix, and my car wasn`t acceleratin so I let Eric and his guys check it out. They even give me a ride home! It turned out the car had a clogged exhaust converter which was in warranty at the dealer. They told me to go there and it didn`t cost me a penny. God bless this shop. They are the greatest!!!!

I brought my 2002 Nissan in for some transmission service and was very nervious about the whole repair. After talking with Erik about the problem that I was having he assured me that it would be ok.
