?ˆ?SENIORS BEWARE?ˆ? It took me a week to recover from a violent verbal attack I received at RV?ˆ™S R US in Largo, FL on July 31, 2013. I am taking prescription medication for a heart condition and high blood pressure. Even though I get stressed to think about what happen, this man needs to be exposed. No one else should experience what I had to go through. If this verbal attack is not illegal it should be. At 9AM July 2... view more9th I took my rv to RV?ˆ™S R US to replace the carburetor on the Onen generator. It needs to be replaced because I broke the high altitude adjustment screw off and the generator will not run. Three days later I called them and was told the diagnosis is $110 to let me know I needed a new carburetor, I already knew that. Shocked, I asked how it would take an hour to lift the bay door look at the carburetor see the screw broke off push the start button and realize it will not start. I said I did not like being ripped off and I will pick up my rv. When I entered there shop a large older man started yelling at me, I think he?ˆ™s the owner because he kept saying my place, and my business. He told me to take my peace of s**t and get off his property and never come back. He continued to yell at me being verbally abusive and condescending. I told him to stop yelling at me and he would not. I finally had to tell him to shut up. And put my hand in his face and said stop. I was shaking so bad I could hardly sign my signature. This man should not have a business that deals with the public. I am just shy of 70 years old not in good health and live on SS. Every penny counts to me, and I still say I was ripped off.

Bad Experience
I paid $85 to have their repair technician Dennis come out to the RV Camp to fix our RV`s propane furnace during one of the cold snaps in Jan 09. He totally misdiagnosed the problem and said we would need several hundred dollars in new parts to repair it. We elected to not bother to have it fixed at that expense. Several weeks later we got a new neighbor in the RV camp who was very knowledeable on RVs. He immedia... view moretely noticed that I was using only one propane tank vice the normal two for my rig and said the problem was probably insufficient gas pressure from the regulator. Sent me to Home Depot for a $2 part which gave full gas pressure and the furnace lit right up - never was a problem at all with the furnace itself! When I called RVs R US and asked for a $40 refund (trying to go half way) Dennis refused and said it was "just an unfortunate situation" and adamantly offered only a $40 credit on any future repair work from them. Since I might never need another repair while in Florida and would never use them again in any case that equated to a zero refund as I explained in vain to Dennis. Quite unfair I believe. I definitely would not recommend these people.
