Very Professional

My daughter was in an accident and Tibbits towed her damaged car to their lot. The tow charges and storage prices were reasonable. Picking up the vehicle couldn`t have been easier. Polite, friendly and professional. I`m old fashioned and appreciate the neat uniform, good attitude and good old fashioned service like this. Thanks, Robert, for a pleasant experience under an otherwise bad time for my family.

These technicians are the best

These guys are great. Very professional and highly skilled. Always has the vehicle ready when promised. These are the only mechanics my wife will go to. When another mechanic told her the noise was her alternator, she went to Tibbits only to fine out it was just the idler pully making the noise, and it did not need to be replaced unless the noise bothered her. She had them replace the pully, and was on her way with a... view more quiet vehicle. She has not gone to another mechanic since. These guys may not be the cheapest, but they do the job right the first time, and stand behind their repairs. They know how to treat their customers, and don`t take advantage of women.

one of the most reliable auto shops in town

I`ve never had a problem with Tibbit`s in OVIEDO on Alafaya Trl. I`ve been going to Tibbit`s for the last three years, recommended by a trusted friend. I say that their price is fair considering in return for a great service from HONEST people, which are hard to find these days. From smaller services like oil changes/tire rotations/alignments to larger mechanical issues like a coolant leak/needing parts replace... view mored, I`ve never felt more comfortable entrusting my car to their care. They do call prior to doing any work on the vehicle, give an estimate, and STICK to that estimate. Unlike large chain repair shops who just treat you like just another profit, the people at Tibbit`s in Oviedo know you by your name. Once I had to get a second estimate from a DIFFERENT repair shop (I won`t name names), they were wanting to charge $300 over what the estimate Tibbit`s gave for the exact same issue, on top of other random non existing ""problems"" with my car and tried to charge me a service fee to have my car even looked at! As a college student and knowing that these are hard economic times, they try to give me (student) discounts whenever it`s possible, and I never ask. Robert and his team members always go above and beyond. They care about what they do and ensure that their service is at its best. I highly recommend Tibbits in Oviedo for anyone looking for an auto shop to take their car to.

Never Had A Problem

Been going to Tibbit`s since I moved to the UCF/Oviedo/East Orlando area over 10 years ago. They have always treated me fairly. They call prior to doing any work on the vehicle, give me an estimate, and STICK to that estimate. Yes, the prices are a little higher than some other shops in the area, but at those other shops I`ve had to go back to them for shoddy work on my truck. I`ve recommended them to friends and strangers alike and I`ve never been let down.

Orlando`s finest RIP-OFF SHOP

My son attends school nearby Tibbitt`s. He had his car repaired at Tibbitt`s. Although my son claimed the service manager was very polite they cut his wallet wide open while he was leaving the shop. They are polite thieves. Their website claims they built their business on fair pricing and mechanical expertise. Unfortunately, Tibbitt`s is nothing more than another great American RIP-OFF SHOP. When I researched the p... view morericing for parts for the repair, I found that Tibbitt`s practice is to charge full dealer list OEM prices for the parts they used. This would be the same cost a dealership would charge for parts if the repair was done and the dealer was into ripping -off their customers. I am sure that Tibbitt`s used the same after-market parts that can be purchased at any reputable auto parts store in the area. Here`s an example: Tibbitt`s charged my son $ 11 for a spark plug $ 152 for a wheel bearing $ 66 for spark plug wires. These are all full list prices if you went to a site for geniune OEM chevy parts. I could purchase the same quality AC-DELCO parts from Advance Auto Parts for $ 4 for a spark plug, $49 for a wheel bearing, $25 for spark plug wires.
Get the picture here?!!!! Tibbitt`s is nothing more than a price-gouging rip-off center that preys on college students wallets!!!
Now for their mechanical expertise. After the repair, my son left the shop and his car still had the same noise/symptoms as it had before the repairs. He called Tibbitt`s and they politely told him to bring the car back to check their repairs. They politely told him the noise he was hearing is not the wheel bearing they replaced, but it was engine mounts and engine mount parts would cost $600 !!!! So the bottom line is that Tibbitt`s did not repair the original problem, charged my son for a wheel bearing repair that was not the problem, gouged him on parts prices, and then tried to diagnose a new repair for the same original problem.
Luckily, my son called me at home before letting Tibbitt`s rip him off AGAIN.
I repair my own vehicles at home in NY. I know that this place Tibbitt`s is one of your classic rip-off repair shops by seeing how they politely try to steal your money.
If you go to a repair shop and the guy telling you what is wrong with your car is a service manager.... with a clean white shirt on....being very polite and knowlegeable....while his hands and fingernails are clean....YOU ARE GETTING RIPPED-OFF!!!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company!!!

How can these people continue to run their unprofessional business this way? I own many corporations, and if my business were ran this way I would shut myself down. Tibbits is very unprofessional, act very uneducated, and speak to their customers however they please. Their service is not recommended and I plead you to steer towards a diffrent company to do business!! They are horrible

I was in a crash yesterday and my car was totaled and towed here. I am a valencia student and had alot of hw to do with all my books in the car. I was in the hospital last night and was told i could get my stuff on saturday and bring it home. When i called to tell them i was coming it was 10:50 am. I said i really need to come get my stuff and valuable out of the car and the guy said "" well that sucks, we close a... view moret 11am"" and hung up on me. They are rude people and do not care at all about their customers.

Excellent service

I am a college student at UCF and have been using them for almost 2 years. Tibbits has great customer service and they do excellent work. They have always given me great results.
