I really appreciate the great experience I had! It was a bit nerve wracking because I was moving from Rhode Island to Houston and I couldn`t really tell which transport company would be the best. I went with TransAuto Transport because the guy Brian I spoke to on the phone was very nice. And with 2 days to spare before my big move, we dropped my car off and it got here just fine, 2 days after I arrived. PERFECT timing (total 4 1/2 days of actual transport!! :) Very happy. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I called this company hoping to get my car shipped of to my wife so she can use it while I deployed with the Army. Little did I know how frustrating it would be to do it with this company. First, I called the Florida office and I got connected with a guy named Jesus. I reserved a spot on a truck for the 25th and I had to pay a $125 deposit fee. Two days before, it`s ... view morethe 23rd of October, I get a call from Jesus asking if it was alright if the car could be picked up a day early, on the 24th, I replied "No" but I also suggested that it could be picked up the day after (26th) if that would help you guys. He said he would call the driver and get back with me with a solution. I didn`t get a call back that day... It`s the 24th and I get a call from a truck driver asking if my vehicle was ready for the pick up. I replied "No, I agreed on the vehicle being picked up on the 25th or the 26th. He said he was going to call his dispatcher and get back with me with more information. I waited 5 - 6 hours and called the driver back asking whats going on? he told me that he couldn`t wait any longer so he replaced my spot on a truck with another car, there is nothing else he can do and call his dispatcher. I asked why is my spot being replaced a day early? he couldn`t give me any answer. I tried calling Jesus back, it seemed like he turned his phone off. I couldn`t get in contact with him until 1:00pm the next day, which is also pick up day. He told me that he doesn`t know whats going on and my car is still been scheduled to be picked up on the 25th, if not the 26th. He also told me he was going to call the driver with some information and get back to me. He again didn`t return my phone call. The 26th came around and I still haven`t heard from Jesus. So i started calling other offices and got a hold of Jessie in the New York office. I explained to him whats going on and he said he was going to call a driver and see if they can come pick it up now. 3 hours went by I called him back and he said he was calling three other driver companies to see if they can pick up my car. Another 3 hours had passed so I called him back asking if their had been an update in the information. he said no but he is going to call me in a hour and a half, right before he leaves the office, and tell me exactly how the driver is going to come pick it up. Asked him if he could give me a number I can call after you leave the office just in case I have more question. HE refused to give me any other number asking me what kinda question would I have to call anyone else. I asked who was in charge of the office he said he was. I asked if their was somebody above him I can talk to and he said their is nobody after hours I could talk to above him. I asked when you guys open up again who can I talk to who is above you he said he is the one in charge. I asked if he was the owner and founder of the company he replied no. After that i said if my car isn`t picked up today I want my money back. He asked me who else are you going to go to? Does this mean your going to find somebody to pick up your car on Sunday or Monday? He wouldn`t talk about the process of getting my money back. He said you have already wasted 30 mins that I could be talking to the driver. I will call you back when I have more information.I have no got a call back from him. Now it`s the day before I deploy and I worrying how I`m going to get my car to my wife. Somebody in the whole company picks up the phone every 20 times I call. seems like no one really cares who they treat the customers. I do not recommend this company to anyone and I`m out of $125. I do plan on legal action being done.

Great job getting truck to me. It`s was a long drive for me to get truck on my own plus renting car hauler so talking with Ernie it make sense to have the vehicle picked up and dropped off at my home. Ernie took care of all the setup of picking up and dropping off. It was a BIG lifted truck and we are having fun with it. I will use Ernie again when I buy my next toy and need it. Delivered.

EXCELLENT SERVICE JESUS! I researched & compared at least 25 company quotes and verified the company status through BBB, Trans Auto Transport was definitely in contention. Quotes I received varied from the lowest $750 vs. $1250, of course, my first inclination would be to opt for the cheapest rate, right? no, do not rely on that assumption. What I did next was, I called a few of the companies to speak to a live ... view moreperson and basically interview them, to get an idea how knowledgeable they are about auto transporting, how long they`ve been in business, etc., throughout the conversation, I was actually testing their Customer Service skills. Most of the service reps I dealt with had condescending manners, know-it-all attitude, impatient & only in business for a short time. Fortunately, when I called Trans Auto Transport, Jesus Briceno, got my call, he answered all of the questions that put me at ease about shipping our 2009 Nissan Sentra cross country. Jesus was very knowledgeable in discussing the company history, the process of pick up and delivery, payment terms, insurance and more. Within a 24-hour period of paying the deposit, I was given the dispatcher`s name and drivers` names, Joey and Jose. The car was scheduled for pickup Friday between 12-5pm, unfortunately, due to inclement weather and traffic, CP Auto Transport arrived around 5:45pm. My auto was delivered to California in 4 days! I highly recommend Trans Auto Transport for your auto shipping needs. Kudos to Jesus, Joey and Jose for a job well done!

Do not use this company. They are not door to door. They used what you call a "preferred list" of truck driver to transport your car so they`re a middle man even if they claim they are not. Their preferred truck driver company is horrible. There are hidden fees that they do not tell you of so what out. You won`t get your car until you pay is how they do it. Very Dishonest I contracted Trans Auto Transport to ship a classic non op car on the 10th of July it is now the 21st and the car has not been picked up talked to many different people at all three locations and get the run around they sent one carrier out who did not want to pick up the car because it was a residential area so the company tried to charge the carrier $50 to have it towed up the street to the carriers ... view moretruck. I have pages of phone records from calling at least several times a day they even sent us a recording of them trying to book another carrier where the broker continuously lies to the carrier. They think I don`t want my car picked up they are wrong. I just want it picked by a carrier who know what they are going into. I even went as far as trying to find other carriers who would work with them. They were not supposed to charge my credit card until a carrier was dispatched but they charged the day I contracted them to pick up the car I asked for my deposit back numerous times to no avail. They say we pick up the car within 48 hours we have over 20 carriers all lies and my car is proof after sitting and waiting to be picked up for 21 days. Even the owner Allen you call over and over and he does not return the calls.

Dishonest and bad customer service.
I was reserved a truck to transport my vehicles, 3 weeks in advance. I remained in contact through email and phone and was told everything was good to go. On the day of my pickup, when I had to call them and ask where is the truck, they told me they had no truck to pick up my vehicles. I already had a plane leaving the area and was forced to cancel my flight and had to put my family in a hotel until I can have my veh... view moreicles picked up or place them in a storage. I had to put my vehicles in storage and leave town. I do not know when my vehicles will get transpoted. The company has taken my money and will not answer my calls. Please stay away from this company. I will go after these guys legally. If anyone need any more info about my experience please feel free to contact me. One peice of advice, do not give a broker a deposit until your car is on a trailer. Now I am forced to find a truck while I am out of town and my vehicles are in storage. I have been thing about buying my own transport truck and just being honest and direct to the customer. Please avoid Trans Auto transport.

This was my first experience with purchasing a car from another state. It was also my first experience with shipping a car. I was a little scared in transporting my new car because i didn`t want it to get any kind of scratch. This company understood me and they recommended me to have it transported enclosed so I did it. I help my mother move her car to and from Arizona every year. I`ve had issues in the past with other transport companies. My rep was Corey and he was very knowledgeable and made the process easy. My mother`s car was picked up and delivered on time. I will be using this company again. Great job!
