This is by far the worst deale...
This is by far the worst dealership I have ever been to. They have the worst customer service one in particular Mike Simpson. The mechanics don`t know what they are doing. You may as well go to a shade tree mechanic as least you will be a able to drive your car a little while. They told us one price and when we arrived it was another. My car went in for a starter and came out with a new engine. They kept my car for 37 ... view moredays I paid 5,300.00 and drove it for 4 days and it broke down. Then had to take it to another dealer to get what Sunbelt messed up fixed. If you can not provide adequate service do not advertise that you can be honest with the customer give them a choice to go to another deaaler. How can a brand new 2012 car have so many issues I can tell you I took it to Sunbelt in Lake City Fl worst mistake of my life. 08/17/2012-9/27/2012 is how long it for them to break my car even more. If I could give a -5 star rati...
If I could give a -5 star rating I would for the incredibly terrible service I have received at Sunbelt Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Lake City FL. I bought my Dodge truck from them in 2004 and have had it serviced there for the most part ever since... Until last March when I took it in for a simple oil change which ended up taking almost 4 hours because my paperwork evidently fell through the cracks. FOUR HOURS for a simp... view morele oil change. OK I said I would never take it back for service there. Then last Thursday (a week ago) I had a brake lock up while in Lake City and my husband had the truck towed in to Sunbelt to have it checked out. Husband went by the next day (24 hours later) and the truck was still sitting where the tow truck had dropped it at. They told him they would get right to it. They later called and said it was the master cylinder that had went out and it would cost over $500 to fix it. That was last Friday. They were to order parts and fix it as soon as they came in on Tuesday. I called Tuesday evening and they told me the truck would be ready to pick up on Wednesday. Today is Wednesday and I went to pick up the truck and found out they haven`t even touched it! It was still sitting outside and NOTHING has been done to it. The service department told me that they had been too busy to work on it.. but they would have it done today. I am beyond pissed. I run a business myself and if I gave my clients the same kind of service I have received from Sunbelt I would be out of business. I realize that you can`t please everyone... but my truck has been up there for an entire week untouched. I am wondering now if they lied about it even being the master cylinder... how do they know if they haven`t even touched it? Shame on you Sunbelt for the lack of customer service and professionalism on your part.

For 17 years I`ve taken my veh...
For 17 years I`ve taken my vehicles there for service. NO MORE. Like most car/truck owners, I`ve had a love-hate relationship with the service dept. but for the most part I`ve been satisfied. Until recently. Now they just seem desperate to make $$. They charged me a full hour`s fee ($89.88!) just to adjust a loose zippy-tie shift cable that was vibrating against heat shield. When car was in for brakes/alignment, they... view more were only able to partially complete the work because a part needed to be ordered. I was charged IN ADVANCE for the entire job, with the svc advisor assuring me that when I returned to complete the job I would not be charged anything. I`ll be da*ned if they didn`t charge me AGAIN for labor. When I reminded them of their promise that I`d owe NOTHING upon return, they said, "Oh, the 1st labor charge was for the brake work and the 2nd is for alignment." Scam! During this same svc episode, I reported my speedometer lighting had gone dark and asked them to replace the bulb. Well, THAT wasn`t done either. The svc advisor said the tech didn`t notice a problem (of course not, it was daytime), then said, "I played with the light switches (on the turning signal arm) to see if that would help." I replied, "Don`t you think I tried that before bringing it to you to replace the bulb?" He replied, "Well, I thought maybe you had just done a BLONDE thing, and I would be your hero." REALLY?! Finally, I had water pump, timing belt, tensioner, pulley, thermostat, etc. replaced. 25K miles later, my water pump went out and I when I took car in for repairs, they used all new parts, which I doubt was necessary. And shouldn?ˆ™t the pump & parts have lasted longer than 25K miles?

You know the old saying "Too g...
You know the old saying "Too good to be true?" I wish we would have heeded to that tried and true statement. From what I just from the previous review, it`s not only the service department that does bad business.
My family and I bought a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan from Sunbelt. We brought in all the information they needed, signed the papers and even transferred our tags from our old car. Two days later th... view moreey call us and say that they did not secure the financing from a bank and we would either need to put more money down (a large amount) or give the car back.
In my experience from buying cars and even watching my parents purchase cars, never have I seen this type of situation. Financing is secured before all paperwork is finalized, tags/plates are transferred and the car is driven off the lot. You don`t call someone TWO days later and say "whoops we need that back!"
We understand how the whole financing thing works, but this is the responsibility of the dealership to have it completed before the car is signed, sealed and delivered. This is very bad business and very unprofessional. I am more than disappointed with this business I will never return there and be sure that everyone I know will not do business there either.

Automotive Service
I bought my new "used" car in September 2007 from this dealer. My salesman (Jason Hessley) was excellent in his efforts to find me a great vehicle at a price that my budget could afford. My Dodge Caliber had a low 20,000 miles on it and was in excellent condition. A few months later, I had a minor accident. I ran over some large branches that were in the roadway at night, during a bad storm. From that time on, I had ... view morea loud vibrate/rattle noise coming from the muffler area. Having some knowledge of vehicles, I did a visual to assess the damage. I saw nothing other than a bent support brace. Not feeling anything loose, I wondered if perhaps the muffler might have suffered some internal damage that I could not see. I made an appointment to have the vehicle inspected and/or repaired. When I received the estimate call some hours later, I was told that my repairs would exceed $900. Not only for the muffler $425..but also for a new set of tires that somehow had obtained tiny slashes all over them. Needless to say, I explained that I would be right over to be shown the apparant damage before making any decisions. My car on the lift, the mechanic explained that the muffler was damaged (again, nothing outwardly visible) and that my tires were showing signs of breaking down. I saw no problems with my fairly new tires (remember my car now only had 23,000 miles on it). Feeling taken advantage of, I paid my $85 estimate fee and took my vehicle elsewhere.
I made an appointment with Tire Mart, kicking myself for not doing so in the first place. They have serviced many of my vehicles in the past, for various things and always, always been honest and fair with me. I left my car for inspection and when they called me a few hours later, I was ecstatic to find out that my exhaust needed nothing more than a new brace to replace the bent one. My tires, and they know tires...were just fine. I came back with my vehicle looking and sounding like new for a mere $45 plus tax. Yes, $45.00
Needless to say, Sunbelt Dodge service won`t be getting any of my money in the future and I will be sharing my experience with others. I`m not saying this is the norm for this establishment, I would just recommend you do your homework before you say yes to a huge bill that might not be what is warranted.
