I took my vehicle in on 7/6/11 to fix the AC and spent about $1050.00. I had to take it back about a week later, bc the AC wasn`t working again. Owner blamed NAPA parts and replaced the compressor. Had to take it back 8/19/11. Owner said it was my belt systems that prevented my AC from working correctly. Spent about $120.00 there. The belts fell off three times while on the road. (Brown Automotive ... view moresaid to tow it to the shop. A mechanic from a different shop went to my stranded sights to help for FREE.) Took it back on 9/2/11 and had the serp. belt replaced. (I could not have the belt falling off while I drove.) Brown Automotive blamed NAPA parts again. 12/16/11 brought the vehicle back AGAIN because the AC is not working. Owner again blamed NAPA parts. I said that after multiple visits, it is more than faulty parts. He says no. Even threw in a comment about how a guy?ˆ™s engine replacement has taken three tries due to ?ˆ?faulty parts.?ˆ? Now, he says the vehicle needs a master switch. I do not trust this shop to do any more work on my vehicle. They obviously do not know how to fix my AC. I wish I knew this information over $1100 ago, at least 5 shop visits ago, and three times of being stranded on the side of the road. I still have a broken AC. DO NOT TRUST BROWN AUTOMOTIVE. The owner is nice enough to show you pictures of scuba, skiing, and deep sea adventures he does with your money. It would have been nice if he had fixed the AC.

Honest repair shop
I towed my Jeep Wrangler into Brown`s Automotive. It would not start. I had no idea what was wrong with it or how much it would cost. I feared the worst as far as cost but I was wrong. Gary took care of the problem at a fraction of the cost I had imagined. It`s great to see there are honest mechanics out there. I highly reccomend Brown`s Automotive. I will bring all my auto service needs back in the future. Thanks a... view moregain Gary and all the people at Brown`s! A+

They resurrected my 1997 Dodge Neon.
I had to call AAA Road Service and have my 1997 Dodge Neon towed into Brown`s on 5/11/06. Both engine belts had snapped and the engine would not start. After Gary and Steve discussed several repair options and the estimated costs, I found, bought and dropped off 1 of the belts to them myself and was able to pick-up my car (running again) without mortgaging the entire farm. I just don`t trust allot of Automotive Repa... view moreir places `cause I feel like I`ve been shafted too many times.
