Great shop and great customer ...

Great shop and great customer service, Wayne and Charlie take the time to explain things that I have never had before with other shops. I have been traveling a lot with my new job and had ignored some of my required maintenance so when the check engine light came on I thought I was in big trouble. I took the car in on Friday and saw a ton of cars in the shop so I thought for sure that I`d be turned away but they wo... view morerked me in for a diagnostics, about an hour later we got the results. Turns out I had two issues a bad wheel bearing and faulty wheel speed sensor. I`m a very inquisitive person so I had questions about the repair and I was please to see that I was given amply time to ask questions. I was also impressed by the choice I had in parts and warranty, again explained in detail. More pleased when I got the invoice and it was exactly what I was quoted, no hidden fees. And blown away once I drove the car. I had previously been told by another shop that I had a transmission problem about three months back and that the repairs would cost me around $3800, that`s why I took it to AAMCO this time fearing the worst. But turns out the wheel speed sensor fixed that issue too and it wasn`t a transmission afterall CHA-CHING. I would recommend AAMCO in Ft. Walton Beach to anyone they are true professionals who understand the importance of a satisfied customer, I`ll be back again and again. Thank you, Completely Satisfied Customer

Avoid this shop!

Beware of the Aamco transmission shop in FWB! This place is a full fledged scam that will make up repairs that your vehicle is in need of and then make excuses for why the original problem still exists all the while still expecting payment for the unnecessary fix.

Best Customer Service in North America

The manager and staff at AAMCO in Fort Walton Beach, Florida provide the best customer service I have experienced in 50 years of car maintenance and repair. I visited their shop in 2010 after several bad experiences in the area with vehicle repairs. The people at AAMCO went the extra mile every time I visited their shop. They are simply the best.

Honest Shop

The guy`s at my Fort Walton Beach Aamco, are the best! After going to the dealer I went to Aamco for a second opinion, they took time to run a full diagnostics (FREE) and found that I had a faulty solenoid (the dealer misdiagnosis this and wanted $3300 for a new transmission).
