Liars and bad service

I called yesterday and got a price to put a a/c compressor in my nieces car and Paul Sr gave me a price of $277 and told me to bring it in the next day! So when I just brought it in the price went up to $336.05! Bad service bad company I will never go there again or call :(

Paul`s mobile mechanic is where you go when you need an honest mechanic at a fair price. Paul is always ready and willing to help you out. I would not take my cars to any other mechanic. I make sure that my road side service will never have a problem with towing me to Paul`s. If you want a job done you can rely on...Go to Paul`s.

RUDE

My Ford Explorers fuel pump went, We called to get quotes due to it being 2 weeks before Christmas,My husband was given a total, but I was actually given the PART from my brother as a Christmas present (he works at an auto parts dealer in NH) So I called back to get a price on the labor and to see if they would put it in even though I have the part( I know some wont do that, and I understand that ) I just wanted to b... view moree sure and I was told "" YOU DONT NEED A PRICE YOU ALREADY GOT ONE "" Really Well I wont be going there and now after reading the reviews I glad I am NOT !! Honest Mechanic

I don`t know if these one star reviews are competitors, but Paul is an honest, hard-working mechanic that has helped my family get both of our cars well into the mid 100,000 mile range at a low cost. I have taken our cars to Paul`s for over two years now, and he is a great person and mechanic. The men he has working for him are courteous and say yes sir to me even though I believe I am younger than all but one. ... view more Paul has discouraged me from getting certain work done that eventually my car needs, but he cares about my family`s well-being and knows that the economy is tough. He does the work that is absolutely necessary unless I ask him to take care of everything. I am no dummy when it comes to cars. I know if someone is taking me to the cleaners. Honest Mechanic ! What a welcome change!!!

Just to set the stage for my review:
I`m a fairly capable mechanic myself. I`ve rebuilt engines before and know what it takes to do the job right.

But once in a while I just dont have the time or equipment to do a repair, but I do know exactly what is needed and what it will take, so I`m rarely ripped off.

A few years ago, my son blew out the engine on his 1966 ""daily driver"" classic 1966 Mustan... view moreg. It would have taken me a month of ""weekend work"" to get the car back on the road. We needed the car back on the road FAST.

So we took it to Paul to rebuild the engine. He did it in only 4 days and when he was done, the car ran fantastic.

I called around and could not find another engine rebuilder who was even remotely close to his price.

I`m not even convinced that I could have rebuilt it myself for much cheaper.

Since then I have taken other cars to him and have always left with a great repair at a very affordable (sometimes suprisingly low) price.

Paul is one top-notch mechanic and a boon to our community. I HIGHLY recommend his work.

HORRIBLE!!!

We went to this place. Please save your money, time and Car. 1. When they fix one problem, they break another. 2. They are very rude in how they deal with you. 3. They charge you for original and put in fake spare parts. 4. They overcharge you. 5. They don`t own the problems they create by fixing your car. Horror show of Land O Lakes

THE BEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP IN THE LUTZ/ LAND O` LAKES AREA

Having been a resident of this area for over 35 years I can honestly say that Paul`s Mobile Mechanic is the best auto repair shop in the area. His expert staff are able to competently diagnose and repair any automottive problem you may have. His state of the art facility can accomplish a multitude of services from alignments to complete engine rebuilds. Best of all is the price. I usually can expect to pay less t... view morehan half of what the same service or repair costs at the dealership. And they stand behind their work. Recently I had to return to have a defective alternator (rebuild) that they had installed replaced. There was no charge for the part or the labor. No hassle at all. I highly recommend this shop--be sure to give them a try next time you require service or repair to your vehicle. I have never been disappointed and I`m sure you won`t be.

Great Place If U Are Looking For The Best!!!

They have to much work on my veichles to explain. From 3 transmissions after i went to mudhole and blew them up.They installed my lift and put new tires on my wifes truck.Always great prices. You can see clear as day they are equipped to do any job and they do alighments on my big truck!!!! Check it Out for Youself

Crude/ Nasty Owner of this Rip Off Company!!!

We brought our car in a few weeks ago. Paul (the owner) so called gave a diagnostic test which he said read the car needed a new fuel pump. The cost would be $518.00. We paid the money, we assumed that was that the car was fixed. Well we were wrong! The car went out in the middle of the street as soon as we pulled off his lot! We brought it back in, Paul wasn`t there that day but his helpers were, they told us its th... view moree water pump thats out now. This upset my husband and I because Paul so called ran a test on the vehicle and assured us it was only the fuel pump! Well for days and days we tried reaching Paul, it was like he was hiding out or something which made him look more crooked and us very angry! Well while I was at work I was finally able to get in touch with him by phone, he yelled at me saying until your husband pay for the water pump the problem will stand. I said your the one who said it was the fuel pump, and we paid to have that fixed. Well next he yelled saying you should look into buying a new car, its old with a lot of miles on it therefore its your problem your water pump went out! I couldn`t believe it, not only did he rip us off by taking our money and giving us a false diagnostic test, but also added insult to injury! For anyone with a problem with their vehicle PLEASE DO NOT GO TO PAUL`S MOBILE MECHANIC IN LAND O LAKES, FL for its ran by a NASTY, UNPROFESSIONAL RIP OFF CON OWNER!!!!!
