Have a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville (Black) with `sunburn damage` after years of the Florida sun. Also had some minor vinyl bumper issues. Kevin at Hollywood Maaco was courteous and very professional during my first visit at Maaco. He walked outside to check out my vehicle, a Toyota Echo that had numerous dents and scratches from living several years in Manhattan in a neighborhood were cars squeeze in between one another to find a spot, people double park, bang the daylights of other people`s doors, you name it. This place customer service sk...

This place customer service skills is atrocious. First when I called and asked about pricing for getting my car getting painted they told me that they have a special staring at $249. So hearing that I made my mom take my car in for me since I had to work. My mom called me with a quote of over $600, I told her that I didn`t want to spend that much so they brought it down to $550. I turned my car in on a Tuesday and t... view morehey told me that it would be ready by Friday. Friday comes and no call so I called them and they told me it wasn`t going to be ready until Monday. Monday comes and I wait until I get off work and called to pick my car and they told me it wasn`t ready so I told them that I needed my car today. So they said okay but I will have to wait a little so they can detail it, okay no problem. I get their and walked through the door and the black lady behind the desk didn`t greet us or saying anything ( I guess I was wearing my invisible suit) and she had an awful attitude. So my fiance went to the front desk to ask a question and she pretended like she didn`t see him and after 6 minutes of standing he had to call her to get her attention. He starting asking her questions about the pricing on the bill and she started getting frustrated with it so she called the owner. The owner a hispanic guy came in with an attitude and his face made up. So my fiance asked him why certain items cost so much for a paint job with only a year warranty on it. Then he got mad and said WHY DIDN`T YOU JUST TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP OR PAY $1300 IF I WANTED A BETTER PAINT JOB. So my fiance told him that the paint job wasn`t a good paint job. So the owner told my fiance that he`s just an unhappy person because he`s a LOSER (really what owner says that about a customer). My fiance and him started getting into an heated arrgument. He was yelling and calling him names, loser and said that he was gonna fu&amp;k his sister and so on. Stay clear of this place because as soon as you start asking questions they gonna give u an attitude. This place is gonna take a first class trip to hell . STAY CLEAR, THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTING UNTIL THEY GET YOUR CAR, THEN ITS DOWN HILL FROM THEIR!

Just Average

If you want an inexpensive paint job, Maaco is OK. Just don`t expect it to be a great job. For the money they do OK but there are runs, sags and blemishes. Also had to take the car back to repaint a damaged spot that apparently occured after the paint booth. They also did some damage to the trim, which they could not fix and forgot to re-attach emblems.
