Don`t go to this shop ( Cruise N`Cool Of Pompano )unless you want to be overcharged for parts and labor!!! They charged me 419$ for a stock Holley Carb., that cost 283$, also over charged me 110$ on a fuel diverter switch from Ford which was 67$ at the dealer. They installed a simple electric fuel pump and charged 3 hrs labor on something that was probably done in an hour. When confronted about the overages they simp... view morely stated it was a typo? I might have bought the typo defense but they also installed the wrong carburator and the bill for that was 650$ installed and when I asked Ford and Holley they both said that the carb they installed on my truck was not the right one and I have been trying to get the shop to install the correct carbchoke and they keep telling me that they are busy and will install at their conveinence because they are busy and are not going to turn down new peoplemoney to fix what has already been paid for. I have given this shop over 1000$ for the carb and fuel pump and still have issues!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE, if you go to this shop or have been to this shop, do yourself a favor and call an auto parts store for the pricing, I guarantee that you have also been overcharged by Cruise N`Cool Of Pompano!!!BEWARE!!!!!! Cruise N`Cool Of Pompano..Cont....?ˆ? - ?ˆ? - Today I finally got this shop to install the automatic choke and they could not even get that right!!! Danny the mechanic installed it right after I drove over after work and it took him at least an hour and the truck was still running awful. He told me to drive it for a day or two and the truck will start to run better!! So I took it home and drove it for a couple of days and the truck never ran any better!! I decided to call Holley and Ford again and ask them and they said that the truck has to be stone cold to adjust an automatic choke and the mechanic said next time a mechanic says to drive the vehicle for a couple of days and it will come to you, to run away as fast as you can!!!!! Any way, I called the shop to see if I could get a credit because they did not fix my problem or adjust the choke correctly and they told me that it could take several more tries at adjusting the choke to get it right and there would be no credit!! So I decided to take the truck to Maroone Ford and have their master mechanic look at it, he has been with Ford for 35 yrs and I dropped it off and picked it up the very next day so that the engine would be stone cold when Tom did the adjustments!!!!!! The truck has not ran this good in quite some time and it only cost me 170$, should have went to the dealer first!!! Oh well!!! I learned one thing and that is not to go to Cruise N`Cool Of Pompano!!!! I hope this review is helpful!!!!!
