G-R-E-A-T Deal! Laid back and not pushy!
I really couldn?ˆ™t be happier with my Veteran?ˆ™s Ford experience. My credit is not even close to good and I had just started a new job I did not think I would be able to get approved but the entire process was painless. Because they are a little out of the way their prices are lower to get people in. Tony helped us and his approach was so refreshing. He was very laid back, gave some input here and there but was nev... view moreer pushy. I really did not think I was going to buy on the same day, but the deal was so good I couldn?ˆ™t pass it up. Just getting back on my feet, I wanted a nice, low $200 a month payment. He got me just that, plus got me in a 2009 car with only 30,000 miles on it! I love my car! I had it narrowed down to two, Tony did not push me into one or the other or one I wasn?ˆ™t interested in. And when it came to talk numbers he made sure I stayed where I was comfortable. I was really dreading the thought of financing another car. I did not want to be pressured into something I didn?ˆ™t want and wanted to stay reasonable with the payment. I thought I was going to have to deal with terribly pushy sales men, but I didn?ˆ™t have to deal with any of that! I highly recommend this dealership and will always check here first when I am looking for a car.

DO NOT GO TO VETERANS FORD
If you look in the dictionary for the word "unethical" you will find a picture of Veterans Ford. Absolutely disgraceful! They stretched a one day job into three, damaged our car, and blew us off when challenged. It is dealers like Veterans Ford that brings about the distrust that honest dealerships have to suffer with. Do not go to Veterans Ford!

Veterans Ford Sucks, Sales & Service departments...
It was a nightmare buying my 08 Escape from them a couple years ago. We agreed on purchase terms, then told me it had BEEN SOLD TO ANOTHER DEALER... It took 2 weeks for them to find a similar (not the same features) vehicle and offered no apology. My first mistake was buying it there, the second mistake was taking it there for service. I have waited an average of over an HOUR for an OIL CHANGE. 2 hours 15 minutes was... view more the longest, again NEVER an apology from the moron service advisers. I had a transmission oil cooler leak which was covered under warranty, when I get the car back they fixed that but DID NOT PUT THE HOOD LATCH OR PROP ROD ON RIGHT! I had a rear window regulator fail which was again under warranty... When I got the car back this time the inside door handle was not working, had to take it back for that! Then just this month the HVAC system stopped blowing air at any speed, they replaced the blower motor resistor. While working on the car they ran the battery down and replaced it with a new one! Which is fine with me I got a new battery for free but the point is VETERANS FORD SERVICE IS A FORD WARRANTY FRAUD. They replace parts that don`t need replacing to milk more warranty money from Ford Motor Company. Once the service plan I have expires this month I will NEVER BE BACK FOR SERVICE AND WILL NEVER BE BACK TO BUY.... EVER.

Service Department Scam
The service department at Tampa`s Veterans Ford is one giant scam. Earlier this year my Ranger had been experiencing a short when I put the truck into drive. The fuse connected to my reverse lights, airbag warning light and AC blower motor would blow each time I shifted into drive. It was an obvious short that was happening somewhere in the dash since it would happen at a specific moment every time. This went unhe... view moreard by the Veterans Ford service department. The first time it went into service they decided to replace the AC system and airbag system. It was covered under warranty, so I wasn`t going to argue as long as they actually found the short. That wasn`t the case. The second I put the car into drive right in front of the service center it blew the fuse again. A tech tried to explain that it was the adapter I was using to charge my cellphone that was causing the problem. Sure, too bad those outlets are not on the same fuse as the one that is popping. Then they told me there was a "mysterious" fluid leak from my AC unit onto the blower motor itself and water damage wasn`t covered under my warranty. I called BS since the blower motor would always work with a fresh fuse as long as I did not put the truck into drive. They refused my claim and charged me $120 for my rental car and diagnostic. Veteran`s Ford wanted $500+ to put in a whole new blower motor. I passed and took my truck to an old Ford tech I knew and we pulled the dash apart ourselves. Turns out the Over Drive wire which runs down the shifter had been rubbing on a metal part of the steering column. This had cuased the wire housing to wear off and had exposed the wire. Each time I shifted, the metal and wire contact would cause the fuse to blow. $2 worth of electrical tape fixed the problem. My AC works perfectly now. We also checked under the hood for this mysterious "leak" they said was causing the fuse to bust. No such leak, but the Veteran`s Ford techs were nice enough to disconnect the hose that is used to keep the blower motor`s armiture cool. In short, Veterans Ford lied to me; they made up a diagnosis that didn`t exist, and didn`t even reconnect my blower motor properly!
