Crooked and Scamming people

My mother`s car was towed away from her from door between 11:00pm and 5:00am at her own appartment complex. She is an 77 year old lady leaving of social security. These crookes take cars like robbing them late in the night. She reported it stolen to find our Ascesion took it because she parked it over the parking line. Awful and crooked!

This place is screwy and scummy! They only accept cash. VERY SKETCHY! Like the other reviews posted maybe they need to be investigated by the IRS. Charged towing for 28 miles when the actual exact distance was only 5.6. I`d be willing to bet that they give cash kick backs to their clients for towing cars. Dude, this place is crooked. Just look at the rates they advertise on their site, then go down there and look at their rates on the office wall. totally different. You, maybe you try to justify criminal behavior, but a towing company that is honest and does it`s job fairly doesn`t get these kind of reviews. Maybe a call to the IRS is in order to investigate some of these contracts and income of this criminal company? People who are treated fairly do not make such an effort to slam a company unless they deserve it.

Horrible

Ok so i went to my dad`s house to pick up some bills for my car i just got a brand new car and he co signed i parked behind his car and i was there for 7 minutes when i walked out of the house to leave my car was gone these people towed my car... && they charged me $185 to get my car out of tow for something that should never had been towed in the first place i was there for 7 minuted these people obviously have noth... view moreing better to do with there time to drive around and tow cars..... something else if that wasn`t enough this is even worse so my dad`s friend was parked in a parking spot and they towed his truck because his tag was expired 2 days after his b-day they towed it and this guy that lives on the corner they towed his car and since they illegally towed it they had to bring the car back these people are absolutely awful && they are nasty grimy people dirty yuck

Angry Tow Truck Driver

I live in an apt complex and my friend came over to drop something up and in a matter of 25 minutes TOPS her car was towed because she was parked underneath the covered parking! Furthermore, the driver from this company was completely rude. He threatened to mace us (2 girls) if we didnt stop following his tow truck but in actuality all we were doing was following him to his company because he refused to give us any i... view morenformation on where my friends car was. He said ""I dont have to give you sh*t, the number is on the truck"". Once we got to the Asencion parking lot (which is on dark backstreets surrounded by nothing but strip clubs) he proceeded to tell us that the offices were closed and that she couldnt get her car now. My friend pleaded with him and he just closed the gate in her face. I called the offices and the lady advised that she would call him so that he would give my friend her car. After 30 min of waiting outside in a very dark street, he tells her that she needs 250 cash to pay. He said ""I`ll give you 3 minutes to get to an ATM"". We ran over to the closest ATM which was on Dale Mabry and as we were driving back, we see the tow truck pulling out of the garage!!! We had to park in front of him because he was about to leave. She hands him the money and he refuses to give her her change. He tells her, ""just give me the 260"". He then threatens to have MY car towed because Im standing in front of his driveway. After all of this my friend gets her car and it had some pretty deep scratches. I dont understand how a company can get away with this type of customer service.

Tow damage and unablle or unwilling to repair

PARK LEGALLY

The funny thing is when people write on these things they never seem to tell the truth. They dont tell you how they illegally parked or that they jumped on the back of the tow truck when a driver was doing his job. Or tell you that you called The horrible thing is we and any other towing company out there don`t tow your vehicles for the fun of it. Unprofessional

For a summary.. -I had to argue with the driver to find out where my car was.. all he would tell me is ""i aint got to tell you sh*t"" and ""ive got pictures!"" when i asked to see the pictures he said ""i aint got to show you sh*t"" -he tried to leave several times without giving me any information on my car - I ended up getting kicked in the arm twice (i was standing at the end of the door so he couldn`t... view more shut it on me and drive off before giving me the information) I made sure I didn`t lay a hand on the driver or get within his personal space, he then maced me twice when I told him I was calling the cops.. then drove across the street to call the cops himself. -He told the cops I tried to get into his truck so he maced me.. hello!? You`re in the drivers seat, I`m on the phone with the police.. WHY WOULD I TRY TO ENTER YOUR VEHICLE? I feel the situation could have been handled a lot more professionally. All he had to do was supply me with information that I wanted instead of short suspicious responses. He also should have exited his vehicle and talked to me like someone who works for a company and is just doing their job instead of making threats and avoiding questions. How am I suppose to know you aren`t just some scumbag who stole my car? Especially when you have someone sitting in your passenger seat with no uniform. In conclusion I will be taking my own set of pictures showing where I was parked and I will try to find out exactly what the rules are regarding a drivers self-defence especially when the civilian didn`t lay a hand on the driver.

WORST CON ARTISTS EVER

Great Company!

I use this company on my property and they are very nice, respectable, professional and honest. They only tow cars that are illegally parked, or ones that I request having towed.

I can`t believe that people actually think they would move someone`s car just be able to tow it. This is really just stupid to think that....how is it that no one ever see`s this happening, IF that`s what they`re doing?? HAHAHA
A... view morend they take pictures to prove you messed up and parked where you weren`t supposed to. No, I`ve never had my car towed, because if there`s a sign stating NO PARKING I don`t park there....I don`t park in fire zones or loading zones either because I don`t want my car towed.
The unfortunate thing is the fact that people don`t take responsibility for their own actions!! It`s never their fault.....yadda yadda yadda

And the ex-employee is right about it not being their fault. Properties check off exactly what we want them to tow cars away for, whether it be parking in the grass, taking up two spots...it`s us as the property manager/owner that make the decision.

I would recommend Ascension to anyone!!
