Had to have my transmission repaired and took it to Mad Hatter, a place I go by everyday on my way to and from work and thought Ive heard of these guys before and hoped they were good. Man was I wrong Had the repair the trans and something went wrong with it and had to take it back again just before the warranty ran out, thank god! because the trans went yet AGAIN! Yes again now this is the 3rd time Now I`m really... view more upset but held back as much as I could especially when it was going to be 2 more weeks due to back order IKES!! and asked if they had a car I could borrow due to the length of time it was going to take to get my vehicle back, and NO was the answer. Now I just spent alot of money and time with all this not to mention my wife`s schedule for work, and yes now she very mad, Thanks guys. I also asked to have the oil changed, which is something I usually due myself and wished I did this time too because when I did get the truck back the engine`s rear seal is leaking now! Also in the midst of all this the mechanic that was working on my truck left and they had to find a replacement. Great! So I get my truck back and seems to be working well as some issues but nothing i cant live with. then this metallic rubbing sounds starts and cant tell where its coming from and either can anyone else, and as time passes it gets louder and well the transmission goes out again...... Just got off the phone with the shop doing the work and hes telling me that the exhaust and trans bolts are missing or broken off, the shifter linkage was rigged to stay on and work and so on and son on..... My next call is to my lawyer to see if I have a case!

Tampa`s Best Auto Shop!

Mad Hatter did a great job on my car. My car was shaking and almost about to die when I brought it in and the next day it was running like a brand new car. Not to mention the great deals on Oil Changes. The best price in Tampa hands down and they do a great job. My friend recommended I go there and I have to say I`m glad he did. I finally have a mechanic I can trust!

Great place to go!!!

We go to Mad Hatter for our oil changes, we always get exceptional service and the prices were great. They are centrally located, not even 5 minutes for me to take in my car. I reccomend Mad Hatter Auto Super Center to anyone, you can really trust their staff to do a good quality job on your vehicle.

Awesome Service!!!

I used to go to Madd Hatter when I lived down in South Florida. So when I moved to Tampa, and realized they were right down the street I started going to them with all my car needs. Though I now live in St. Petersburg, FL I still drive over there and have my car serviced. They are fast and efficent and I recommend all my friend there!

Great staff and great service!

I have been a customer with Mad Hatter since about 2005. The staff is great, the service is great, and they are always on time. There are never any hidden costs or extra charges and they are always honest. I recently purcahsed a vehicle that needed some minor work done to it and originally went to the dealership to get a quote for the work. Great auto repair place

I was recommended to them by my friend. she had very high praises for their work and honesty so I thought I would give them a try. I needed to fix my window motor for a long time but was worried about cost. The dealership where I bought my car quoted me almost $700 and $50 just to look at it. That`s just rediculous! I`ve been going to Mad Hatter`s for the last 4 years or more. I have so many great experiences and stories I`ll just share one of many with you. My car was making crazy noises and I called Mr. Victor at Mad Hatter. It was they day before the Superbowl a couple years back. He met me at the shop the day of the Superbowl.
