I have had a very troubling experience with this dealership. I purchased a 2004 Volkswagen Golf for $6,500 that appeared to be in fair condition. Kevin, a representative of the dealership told me that the car had been in an accident, but that the airbags had not been deployed and the only damage was the small dent in the driver`s side door. However, I had the car reviewed by 3 separate mechanics and it turns out the ... view morecar has quite a bit of damage that was not disclosed to me. For one, when the car was in the accident, the airbags did deploy and since the driver and passenger seat were occupied the seat belts were released and no longer work. Next, when the car was hit there was extreme damage which was never fixed. The front struts on the car are severely damaged and bent, same with the front control arms and the ball joints. An aftermarket hood was put on the car, and the bushings and metal shields were missing throughout the engine. None of this had been disclosed to me, even when I asked about the condition of the vehicle. The dealer has stated that he will not accept a refund, and will not cover the cost to fix these safety issues. The car was purchased with a 30 day 50% coverage warranty and it appears as though he isn`t going to honor that either. There are some other issues with the car, such as a broken oil tube and heavily worn rear brakes, but I don`t expect the dealer to cover those costs. When I called I spoke with Kevin. He hung up on me after I expressed my concerns with the safety of the vehicle. I called back and I spoke with Ray, who proceeded to use mildly threatening and vulgar rhetoric which demonstrated a very unprofessional presence. Overall, I am very I dissatisfied with the vehicle and the deceptive acts by the representatives of this dealership.
