Excellent Service

I was a customer from out of town and I wish I had shops like this back home in NC. It was a Saturday afternoon and I pulled into BLC because the night before I had a major oil leak. I was greeted by a very nice young lady. They were extremely busy buyt I explained my situation to her and told her what had happened. She is explained to me that it was possible that I was having an issue with my drain pull. I had my oi... view morel change a few days prior to this at a Jiffy Lube back home.
After waiting 45 mins they tech. Chris came into to tell me that the person that last did my oil change had stripped my drain plug and the plug was not installed correct. He then reassured me that he could fix this issue and I wouldn`t have to buy a new oil pan because that was my next question. After about an hour and half Chris had me all set and ready to go. He was able to fix my stripped drain plug and had me topped off with oil. Not only was this shop honest; they were also fairly cheap. I would highly reccommend them to anyone.

BLC Auto Inc will rip you off!!!!!

Went in with what turned out to be a blown head gasket . I said I had no idea what problem was but if major I would probly get a new car (big mistake since it was major and they knew if they told me the problem they wouldnt get any business). They sold me what I was told later was a glorified tune up for around $350. They said $350 would make it ""run like new"". One day later my car started overheating again. When I... view more went back I was told I would have to pay a diagnostic fee AGAIN to find the problem!!!! They lied about fixing it, sold me unnecessary parts, and still wanted a 2nd diagnosis fee!!!! That when I thought they may be shady and took it to another shop. With in 5 minutes without hooking it to any machine the mechanic said it is a blown head gasket and here is how I know... He then proceeded to explain the work I had done was unnecessary and was a ""glorified tune up"". Of course BLC said he was lying to me but sure enough my car completely stoped working three days later and a thrid mechanic confirmed it was a blown head gasket. Moral of the story: DO NOT GO TO BLC Automotive Inc FOR ANY REASON!!!!!!!!!!!!

RIP OFF!!!!

I took my car to them and they charged me$750 to fix the problem, which it didnt. they wanted another $700 to fix the "real problem". needless to say i picked up my car. replaced the sparks plugs(advice from a friend) that totally fixed the problem. they completely scammed me.

Great family mechanic

My family has been going to BLC for a long time and they have serviced all of our cars. They know I am on a fixed income and call for approval before doing anything to my car. They offer great service any time I have been there and really care.

BLC AUTO is a rip off

I took my truck to BLC Auto and told them to call me prior to doing any work! and give me a price. They did not do that and charged me $150.00 with out my permission. Horrible customer service.

Forged signature on MC repairs that I never asked for

Dropped my car off for routine maintenance, a simple oil change. The girl wrote all my information, took my drivers license, and Master Card to pay for the oil change. I told them I would be back on my lunch hour. My car wasn`t ready yet so I asked them to leave in the front so I could pick it up after I get off from work. No car. The next morning I went to pick it up, they tell me it will be ready at lunch. Came b... view moreack at lunch, they asked me to sign receipt for the charge and it was OVER 600.00 !! No one was available to explain the charge to me so I refused to sign the receipt until someone talked to me. The managers were ""in a meeting"" I left them a message to call me until then no signature on the receipt. Went back to work. Never heard from them again until the statement from my credit card came...these people forged my signature !!! PLUS never gave me a receipt for what the repairs were..ok that is fine. I disputed it on my credit card and won. However, I did drop an envelope off with a 30 dollar money order in the mail..for the oil change just in case they actually did do their job. JSO called me on the phone due to a complaint filed that I was harassing someone up there, a girl, that claims she is my girlfriend. Fortunately for me she didn`t even know what I looked like much less any info about where I live. Their lies didn`t work this time.
These people wrote in their complaint to MC that I was drunk every time I came there AND they have camera`s to prove it ha! ha! MC removed it anyway. I never signed it.

I have recently went to blc and a great experience. i am a female and of course am nervous about anything automotive but they made the experience a breeze. i was having an issue with my car cutting off and i went in to see what was wrong. they explained every step of the procedure to me, took me out to my car to show me so that i would somewhat understand, and than fixed my car while i was able to wait. the place was... view more very clean and everyone was so nice. they really treated me with respect. they gave me a great price and even better service. and in return i gave them a customer for life.
