Got a car from them. It was in the shop more then it was running. Took it to another shop and was told the motor was shot. That I would be lucky if it lasted the rest of the year. Went back with the paper work for the shop and tried to trade the car in. That was not a possibility. I asked about the lemon law on cars and the guy just laughed. Filed against : Auto Express 888 S. Goldenrod Rd Orlando FL 32822 Complaint Description: I bought a Ford Mustang Cobra, car from Auto Express on Friday, June 1st, 2012. On the way home the car over heated and turned off. I had an employee from the Auto Express pick up the vehicle on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 from the area where I had to leave my car behind when it turned off. The next day, ( Saturday) they ... view moretold me the problem was fixed. I went and picked up the vehicle from the dealer and on the way home it over heated once again. I had an employee from the dealer come out for the second time to pick up the vehicle at the area where it turned off. I could not get the vehicle back Sunday since their business is closed and had to wait until Monday, June 4th, to hear back with any news on the car. When I called to check on the status I was advised that the car would be ready Tuesday ,June 5th. As told I went today ( Tuesday, June 5th 2012) to pick up the vehicle; drove halfway to my destination where it over heated for the third time and turned off. I went back to the dealer with a friend who drove me there and let them know what happened to the car. Since this is the third time it has happened ,I asked if I was able to get another car with the money I put down for this vehicle. I was told I could not. Since I did not want to keep dealing with issues of a car that I paid for and unable to use or trade I asked for my money back, I was advised by the salesman that I could not recieve my refund as to the damages to the car where caused by driving abilities. That if I wanted my money I would have to sue them for it. In turn they advised me that they would sue me for the remaining balance owed to the vehicle as well as trespass me from their property. So at the end of it all I was sold a car that was worth $9,000( which was their selling price) put a $1,200 deposit on the car had the car for 3 days, which were not even complete as to half the time it spent right back in their dealership, lost out on the money I put down towards the car, lost out on a vehicle and am being sued and trespassed. Your Desired Resolution: I am seeking only for the money I placed as a down payment towards the car which is $1,200 plus an extra $40.00 that I spent in gas to fill up the car. Since I was unable to use the car. A total of $1,240.00
