This Starling Auto Group, Inc., place is the biggest rip off place I have ever dealt
with.
Trina the co owner did a bait and switch on me with the purchase price, lied to
me that she did not have a GPS on the car that I purchased, and repo my car three
days before the first scheduled payment!
I put down $1,000 and then agreed to put down another $700 in two weeks but
only came up with $500 as a partial pay... view morement which she accepted. The remaining
$200 was open ended with nothing in writing.
I was going to add the $200 to the first scheduled payment of $150 on April
19th, but guess what, she repo my car before the first due date., that has to
be illegal?
She did reinstate the loan three weeks later after I paid $560 in repo fees that she
lied to me that I would get a copy of the receipt. I had to put out another $1,086
in cash.
Less then two weeks later, I had a new payment due and informed her of a medical
issue and then less then 12 hours later after the due date she put my car in repo
mode again.
Amazing that I put out over $2,800 to this so called auto company, she added over
$1,200 to the purchase price in a couple of days, charged me 24% interest rate
on an $8,000 car that has an average retail value of only $5,500 and then
she still treats a willing and able customer like this.
The second repo took less then two hours from start to finish so how in the
world did she find my car in Orlando within two hours with a GPS device?
Beware of this company, she comes across as a nice person and wants to help
you but if you miss one payment you are crucified by her.
I have had to retain a lawyer to get my money back and reported her company
to the Department of Professional Regulations for the above unethical reasons and
in my opinion this whole family needs to get out of this industry before she
meets the wrong Mr. Goodbar and will not be as patient as I have been.
I tried to settle with her to refune me at least the $560 in the first repo but
she says no. I even agreed to split it with her at $280 and she still says no.
I would not recommend my enemies to going to this rip off place!
