This is a Lemon Lot! Their cars are not inspected before going on their lot for sale, all cars are sold "As Is", however they spend a lot of money on detailing their cars to fool you. They are NOT honest and over priced, becareful with the warranty that they will try to sell you. When you drive off there lot you CANNOT return the car under NO circumstances or time limit. This is only a good place to get you... view morer car washed and detailed. Buyer Beware of Jonas, Daniel and the Gang of Bandits there! #realtalk

I live in Orlando, which is a pretty long drive from this place, so I called right before leaving to confirm that they still had the two cars I was interested in test driving. They assured me they did. I drive out there, and they tell me they sold both of those cars more than a week ago, but hey, would I like to look at these other cars? Uh, no, that`s not what I`m looking for, and even if it was, I`m not doing busin... view moreess with you liars.
So, yeah, basically, these guys suck.

Avoid! They`ll tell you one thing and do the opposite. No customer service at all. This place is just a factory, they get you in and out as fast as possible, and don`t care at all what`s in your best interest. They`ll tell you anything to get you to come into the dealership and buy the car, even if it`s completely untrue. Does the car have bluetooth? Absolutely! A USB port? Sure! The multimedia package? You bet! Then... view more when you get in there, if you actually notice it does not have those things, they`ll say, oh, well it might not have all that, but hey, it`s a great price, and we sell 130 cars a month you know.
Also, they take forever to update their website; at any given time I`d say about 20% of the cars on there, if not more, are no longer there. So, if you`re going to deal with these people at all, at least call first to make sure the car is there, and check every option for yourself when you get there.
Better still, avoid these a-holes like the plague and go to a reputable dealership.

By far, best dealership in town
I read some of the reviews and laugh at the ones that rate them poor. First, is this your first time buying a car? If so, take someone with you that can ask the proper questions, and for Gods sake, do your research first! Or at least use that ""SMART-PHONE"" you have for something other than text messages. Not a scam dealership at all. They are a very high volume dealership. If there are errors on another websi... view morete (not theirs), it is human nature. You people never make mistakes huh? Realize this dealership does not have the overhead (people-wise) that your big dealerships have. With that said, a lot of the same people are the sales-person, marketing person, and photographer. This way they can provide you with a lower cost in the vehicle (this is the reason you go here right?). IF you want customer service, go to REEVES and get the customer service you are looking for (someone to wipe their nose after feeding you BS). Not saying Hillsboro Auto Mart does not have customer service, they just don`t pay their employees to stand around and look pretty and make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, Jack-Wagons, here`s some tissue!!! I have never had them ""push"" a warranty on me. If they ask, I either say yes or no, we move on in the finance process. If there is an issue with your vehicle, 99% of the time, they will work with you to resolve the issue. If you treat them right, they go out of their way for you. If you are not a nice person about it, you will get minimal assistance. Bringing the car to a friend for advise huh? Where was the friend before you bought the car? Then you go to another dealership for service and they want you to buy this and that because the transmission will fall out or the engine may seize up if not.... AND YOU DO IT? I have some ocean front property in Montana for ya too! To comment on the 24% that don`t return, well, did you ever put one plus one together in your life and see that some people are either never satisfied or love their cars and don`t return for awhile? Sorry for venting on some of these jackals, I just hate to a respectable dealership get slammed by people who probably sit around and complain about living in sunny Florida. By the way, I have bought 7 vehicles from them in the last 7 years and will continue to do business with them. Thanks Daniel, Ernie, Johnna, and Al...

Hillsboro Automart is the place to go!
I was in search for a descent vehicle within my very limited budget, and I wasn`t having much luck. I happened to be in the Tampa area and after looking at a vehicle that was a bust, I decided to go online and search for 4Runners in the area. Hillsboro Automart popped up and I made the decision to visit the property. First impression was a good one. The dealership is well kept and puts off a nice vibe. The emplo... view moreyees are competent and they don`t beat around the bush. Long story short, I ended up purchasing a truck from them that same day because they worked a long time with me to get it financed, go over all my options, and what a deal I got! They made sure to go over everything with me in fine detail and broke it down so I understood what I was purchasing and all that came with it. I was very impressed by their service, they are very customer oriented, and I felt I could trust them. I recommend this dealership to anyone and plan on continuing my service with them. Check them out!

Enjoyable Experience
I went to Hillsborough Auto Mart to check out some cars I saw online. As CrackerLicker said they did not have all of the cars that were advertised on the website and also autotrader. HOWEVER I believe this is because they buy and sell cars at a high rate, and I do not believe this takes away from the dealership. Sure maybe they need to upkeep there website a little better, but when I was there I was greeted by friend... view morely salesman who were not trying to pressure at all. They had absolutely no problem letting me test drive the cars by myself, as many cars as I wanted they were intent on helping me find what I wanted. Although I wasn`t able to find the car I was looking for I spoke with a salesman who is going to look for the specific car that I want at auction. Also they gave me a very very fair offer for my trade. I plan on buying my next car at Hillsborough Auto Mart.

Best Experience As Always!!!!
I should start out by saying this is the FIRST car I have bought from Hillsboro Auto Mart....BUT my husband has bought over half a dozen cars from this dealership and my father has bought even more...I was never pressured to buy anyone and felt extremely comfortable! As a female buyer, it was important to me to not feel belittled during this experience. I needed to trade in a vehicle I was upside down in and Hillsb... view moreoro Auto Mart had my BEST interest in mind the ENTIRE time! Patricia is amazing, Al will work the numbers for you and Daniel will do whatever it take to make sure Hillsboro Automart is the FIRST place you think of when the next time to buy a car rolls around! They are not after your business today, they want it for a lifetime!

Good Service, Good Experience
I am a retired university professor from TN and a retired Naval Reserve Commander. I moved to Tampa recently and was searching for a car. I found my Lexus on the internet and drove by to see the car at the Hillsboro Auto Mart. Gerry the salesman that I talked to was a straight talker and reasonable. I called and made an offer on the car and they accepted my offer. The price was very reasonable and Patricia made ... view moresure that all that needed attention in the vehicle was taking care of. Guy was OK ... Not sure about him when I first talked to him, but I think he is OK.
I am happy with my car. All that was agreed upon between me and Gerry was done. Patricia is a great help. Yes, I would recommend this place to my friends and I would not mind buying another car from them.
