Mike Davidson is the BEST Ford dealership in North East Florida!!! I had a wonderful experience with David. I asked to see the 2013 Ford Fusions and that`s exactly what I got. No gimmicks or pushy offers. I was able to get the car I wanted at the price I wanted

The ""Good Guys"" did not stand by their deal
Why do most people feel dread when car shopping and having to spend hours putting up with the pressure tactics and the endless phone calls that follow, just for a good deal that I might add, wasn`t honored in the end.
If anyone out there has had that experience - that is what mine was like at Mike Davidson Ford. I even received 2 emails from salesperson Tracey Skeels confirming my ""Out The Door"" price to seal t... view morehe deal, only to have someone named Mike (he didn`t give his last name - could it have been Davidson?) not honor the deal.
Everything turned out well for us - Bozard Ford stood behind their ""Out The Door"" price and we are looking forward to doing business with honorable people!

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!
I needed another car as my family has just expanded. I have less than perfect credit due to this rough economy. I picked out the car that would fit my familys needs. That was the easy part...with limited job time and shaky credit, the finance department went to work and got my loan approved and I was an owner!!! A great job by the sales dept., an even better job by the finance dept. MIKE DAVIDSON FORD ROCKS!!!!!!!

GREAT GUYS, not just the ""Good Guys""
I really had the most positive experience buying a car from this dealership. I filled out a request on line and within 15 minutes, Ryan my sales clerk called me back even though it was his day off. He met me at the dealership and I did not feel high pressured. I wanted a very specific model and color of truck and of course at a rock bottom price. I felt they truly understood my needs and didn`t try to talk me into s... view moreomething I didn`t want. Two days later they had my dream truck on my limited budget. The follow up was amazing and I`d like to thank Ryan, David, Mitch, and Ben for making this happen so quickly for my family. Mike Davidson Ford, aren`t just the ""good guys"" they are the ""GREAT GUYS""!!!

Bad, Bad, Bad.......
All I can say is that this dealer is anything but the good guys, as their slogan suggests. They were non accomidating and stuck us with a bad deal. PLEASE do your research and take heed of these bad reviews they are from real people. I wish I had. There are too many car dealers out there to do business here.......

Awesome sales & service experience for this female buyer
Recently purchased a used vehicle from Mike Davidson and the experience was fantastic. The Sales Manager, Mitch Denley and his Sales staff were not only helpful but courtesy and respectful. A couple of months after the sale I experienced a minor mechanical issue. Although I knew this was a used ""as is"" purchase, I decided to contact the dealership anyway to see if they could assist me with the repair. I was ta... view moreken care of with the same regard as I was when I originally purchased the vehicle - excellently!!! Awesome experience and I am certainly a fan of this dealership!

Internet is the Way
I always hated shopping for a new car but the internet team at Mike Davidson Ford is AWESOME! I found a Mustang I liked and sent an email in to see about the price. Alan Weltz emailed me back with pictures of the Mustang and all the financing options available. This made it so easy to buy my new Mustang. I was in and out. He even called me two days later to make sure I was enjoying my new car. Even the finance manage... view morer Rick Ramsay was great and can you believe that the GSM Mitch Denley even came out to shake my hand and thank me for my business. Now that is customer service! Thank you guys for making this my BEST car buying experience EVER!

Bad Experience
6/29/2010-The salesman and sales manager both lied to us about knowing the owner of the car and having all the service records as they said all the work was done at the dealership. Neither knew the owner and they had no service records available other than the initial one. The sales manager quoted an amount for our trade in and then refused to honor it and when we continued to question it he then raised the price of ... view morethe vehicle we were going to buy to make up for the difference. Their internet price is lower than the one on the car sticker so they can certainly ""adjust"" the numbers to their benefit. Of course the salesman said it was all his fault as he misunderstood the sales manager`s quote and admitted he didn`t know the owner only heard other salesmen mention she(former owner) once worked for the dealership. I have followed up with the salesman twice on another issue who referred me to the title clerk who said she would have the general manager call me. I am still waiting for the call.
6/30/2010 I did get a call from the general manager Mitch Denley after I posted the above review. He proceeded to tell me that I had all the information about the service records and that the difference between the internet price and sticker price is not so they can adjust their price and I should get my facts straight before I wrote my review. I did get the complete service record that was available and done by Mike Davidson Ford and I do not argue with that. I was told repeatedly by the salesman and sales manager they had the complete service records since the vehicle`s original purchase date, but couldn`t get them for me until Monday (it was a Saturday). When I asked the salesman to see if he could obtain it that day he came back and said they could pull it up on the computer in the office, but couldn`t print it. It wasn`t until I pushed the issue that they were able to produce a printout and I then questioned why there was only that initial service after the vehicle was originally purchased and nothing for the following years that it suddenly came to light that neither the salesman David Betancourt or sales manager Scott Williams knew the owner and that the service on the vehicle during those years was not performed at Mike Davidson Ford as they stated. Mitch Denley mentioned the trade in amount and a timeframe of 2 days before our transaction -- when I asked him to expand on the timeframe of 2 days he was quoting he refused to answer, told me he`d talk to my husband, he wasn`t going to work with me to resolve my issue and then hung up on me. If you purchase a vehicle from Mike Davidson Ford- Jacksonville, Fl. and have a good experience that is great, but if it isn`t I think the expectation would be to have management work with you to insure a satisfied and repeat customer who provides them referrals. Unfortunately it took my review to get a response and a very unprofessional one at that.

unhappy customer
My 20 year old daughter bought a 2002 mustang from them in feb of 2009. When we arrived home we found that the door lock was broken and the remote did not work. the salesman, Kevin White, had it repaired. The first time we used the key to unlock the car the lock popped apart. Obviously they had put the broken lock back together but did not fix or replace it.
It took about 5 weeks for them to settle the financing.... view more The car was $9790, she paid $7500 of that for the down. The first 2 times she was turned down because ""the price was too high for the vehicle"" according to ford motor credit. not happy. Turns out the finance guy ""accidently"" put the wrong amount on the credit application. We then went to a bank for the financing. Again she was turned down because when Mike Davidson called the ""price was different from original quote"". coincidence or trying to rip off a 20 year old female? Third time was correct since i pointed this out to the finance guy who finalized the deal... finally. by the way, i was the one who found the real problem. Finance dept kept saying they did not know why she was turned down after being approved on the phone.
Back to the lock. I kept calling kevin regarding the replacement of the lock. Each time i was asked to ""call him back next week"". He was either off the next 2 days or on vacation or had to make an appointment with a locksmith, etc. My father became ill and was hospitalized in St. Augustine for nearly 3 months. I had no time to get the car in for service and had yet to hear from Kevin. Yesterday I took the car in for service and inquired about them fixing the lock. I was told by the Kevin and the service manager that ""i had waited too long"" and they refused to make it right. They made me wait by blowing me off every time i called!!!!! They did offer to replace it for me for $300. an outrageous price to replace a car door lock. I called a few locksmiths; you can have it done for about $80. quite a difference huh? and get this.. there is no lock on the passenger door. the driver door is the only way to get into the car when it is locked. This must be their game - make you wait til you give up. It`s no wonder Ford is one of the few car makers who`s books are still in the black in this economy. They steal from their customers more than any other car maker.
