He moaned and groaned about the pr... view moreice from his Ponte Vedra home. He even asked if we would not charge him tax because he was a business owner. We asked if he had a Florida Sales Tax Certificate and if the repair was for Resale. His response was ""Ah, I`ll have to check with my accountant."" Having been in business at this location for over 17yrs I now when I`m being BSd.
This guy is a whiner and all he wants is to ""get over"" on you.
His car sat secure in our shop for 3 days after he received our quote without storage. I would guess that he was ""shopping"" the repair because on the third day he wined again and asked would I ""help him out.""
At this point we decided that he was pulling our chain and that we would be stuck as he said that he had already BOUGHT A NEW CAR!!!! So I told him no that the quote was the best price and to decide that day or there would be storage charges. He said that he would get back to me.
He finally came at 5:45pm to pick the BEEMER up and paid for the diag (We close at 6:00pm). He was made aware that no repair had been made and that he was paying for the time to diag what we quoted only ($134.00). He left without a negative comment and I thought that he was OK.
Then I get a ""distress call"" from one of my best customers telling me that there is a bad review about us on Yahoo.
I believe that ever story has 2 sides and you are not MAN enough to tell the story truthfully than you have a pretty thin case to make a grievance on because leaving the facts out of a story that do not support your position (not telling the whole truth) is lying and publishing those untruths in an effort to ""trash"" someone is Liable.
