customer satisfaction is missed goal

If you call them enjoy the intro....it`s the only satisfaction you`ll get from the call.
We had the misfortune to have our Chevrolet towed to Homestead Chevrolet following an auto accident - by the OnStar coverage. The accident itself was not the only misfortune, the location near to these guys has so far been as much.
From the first call the bodyshop staff were rude. I explained why the car arrived there wit... view morehout us - we had to get back home to NC & it was there for a quote on either full or part (so it could be driven home later) repair - no word was given that they would not be prepared to part repair the car or that there would be a $50/day fee for parking. 9 days later the insurance loss adjuster called with his verbal estimate. 2 days later I called HSD Chevy for the quote as they had not sent it via post. After some discussion I now wanted to do a part repair as they would not guarantee their body work. They now stated they would not now be able to do a part repair, so I asked to collect the vehicle. On this request they then first mentioned the parking fee of $50/day, should I not instruct them to do the work. They would not release the car without the payment and just to add insult to injury I found further damage the car when I did collect it. Now when I attempt to call the manager he is not available - 6 calls and messages later still no explanation of the damage to the vehicle or the policy of not stating the parking fees upfront.
I`m sorry Homestead Chevrolet, but you`ve scored an own goal with customer satisfaction with us.

I WENT TO ""HOMESTEAD CHEVROLET CADILLAC"" WITH MY HUSBAND IN HOPES OF TEST DRIVING A CHEVY TAHOE. WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO BUY THAT SAME DAY. AS WE STEPED INTO THE DEALER SHIP WE WERE APPROACHED BY A SALESMAN HE DIDN`T EVEN GIVE US HIS NAME OR A BUSINESS CARD. MY HUSBAND GAVE HIM HIS BUSINESS CARD AND HE JUST put IT ON HIS DESK. WE UNDERSTAND THE FACT THAT HE HAS TO AQUIRE INFORMATION REGARDING US WHICH IS FINE. WE WER... view moreE VERY CLEAR IN TELLING THE SALESMAN WE WERE NOT IN A RUSH AND WE JUST WANTED TO LOOK AT THE CAR, TEST DRIVE IT AND GET SOME NUMBERS. HE KEPT ON GETTING UP LEAVING AND COMING BACK. THE SALES MAN COMES BACK WITH ANOTHER CO-WORKER (HE DIDN`T EVEN INTRODUCE HIMSELF).
HE IMMEDIATELY TOLD US THEY HAD TO RUN MY CREDIT. I IMMEDIATELY TOLD HIM WE HAD TOLD THE PREVIOUS SALESMAN WE WERE NOT LOOKING INTO PURCHASING THE VEHICLE THE SAME DAY, AND THAT WE WANTED TO LOOK AND DRIVE THE VEHICLE. WE ALSO EXPLAINED WE WERE IN THE PROCESS ON PURCHASING A HOME AND SO WE DIDN`T WANT OUR CREDIT RUN. HE BLUNTLY EXPLAINED THAT IF WE WERE NOT GOING TO PURCHASE THE VEHICLE TODAY THAT WE CANOT SEE OR TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE, THAT UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS ""DEALERSHIP POLICY"" AND THE OWNER OF THE DEALER SHIP DID NOT WANT CLIENTS IN THE STORE THAT WERE NOT GOING TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE. BASICALLY THEY SAID ""YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WE WORK IN SALES AND WE DONT WANT OUR TIME WASTED"". THEY ALSO EXPLAINED THE FACT THAT THE DEALERSHIP IS NOT CALLED ""BLAKE CHEVROLET CADILLAC INC."" NOW IS CALLED ""HOMESTEAD CHEVROLET CADILLAC"". I HAVE NEVER HEARD A CAR SALESMAN BAD MOUTH THE OWNWER OF THE CAR DEALERSHIP AND SAYING THEY DIDN`T LIKE HIS ""POLICIES""0 AND THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO STAY MUCH LONGER AS WELL. I EXPLAINED THE FACT THAT ME AND MY HUSBAND BOTH WORK IN BANKS AND WE KNOW THAT IN ORDER TO MAKE A SALE YOU HAVE TO PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST, AS WELL AS CUSTOMER SERVICE. TO SUM IT ALL UP IN A SENTENCE: WE WERE LOOKING TO UPGRADE FROM A CAR TO AN SUV IN A MONTH OR TWO, WE HAD GONE TO OTHER DEALERSHIPS TO TEST DRIVE OTHER SUV`S AND WE WENT TO ""HOMESTEAD CHEVROLET CADILLAC"" AND WE WERE STRAIGHT OUT DENIED A TEST DRIVE LET ALONE TAKE US TO EVEN LOOK AT IT.
