Reviews:

Worst service department in the history of service departments. I have a 2 page complaint I will be posting here in the next few days but first want to warn everyone to stay away from this dealer. Just purchased a $82,000 550i which was exciting but the nightmare of a $1650 repair to swap wheels from our 2012 BMW 528i to the 2013 550i will make your eyes roll. Lies, lies and more lies. Had to do with stripped wheel l... view moreocks and being told they had to shut down 10 service stations so they could connect 10 hoses to bring an air tool to the parking lot. $1215 labor cost for a 3.5 hour repair, plus $143.02 for wheel locks plus tax. It had to do with wheel locks stripped and no master key. They took 3.5hrs to chisel locks off and charged $1215 for the labor to do it. I am waiting to get the bill so I can explain in detail but from all my experiences of owning over 25 cars in the last 20 years, this one takes the cake for the ultimate rip off. It is almost comical what happened and how they worked so hard with the guys in service contradicting themselves while trying to figure how they could charge $1650. The stories from each BMW person contradicted the reason for charging so much. They must have weekly meetings were the service manager must tell the service reps to make sure the minimum charge is $1500. A huge complaint is going to BMW USA, BMW GERMANY and anywhere else. Once I pick up the car, they will never see me again. My family purchased 12 cars from them but in the last year, they became so desperate and just ripped us off royally and they could care less. I am moving all my BMW purchases and service to BMW Fort Lauderdale. I really don`t think they care because they claim they are so busy anyways. They even told us to take the car somewhere else. A 1 day old brand new BMW just purchased for $82,000 and they told us to take it somewhere else if we did not want to pay the $1215 in labor. The service department seems to have become the biggest money maker for them that they now moved service reps desk into the new car showroom area. They already have about 20 desks in service but need more so now they are also in the showroom. This morning I was there waiting and it was sad to watch 1 poor soul (customer) after another going through the service department looking all depressed. All the customers looked so depressed and all I could think was they are all getting probably ripped off like I am. $1215 for 3 1/2 hours of labor, just disgusting and they are also putting another big bill under warranty but we have to pay $1650.33. It truly makes no sense except maybe if I listen to what they said about closing 10 stations and connecting the 10 hoses so it would be long enough to bring air tools to the parking lot at 4:30am to 8am this morning. If I had to wait a few days not to pay for the connection of the hoses, I would wait. I did not have that option. It really makes no sense. We told them last night we would go to home depot and buy a hose for them or electric impact drill. They instead mocked me to my friend when I walked away. I guess they prefer to insult us not only verbally but intellectually and charge $1215 for 3 1/2 hours labor and lose a customer and their family who purchased 2 new BMWs in the last year and 12 over the last decade. Who runs this place and how much longer do they think they will get away with it? Never again, Fort Lauderdale BMW I hear great things about and all my new BMW purchases and service calls will be done at Fort Lauderdale BMW. I suggest to everyone, you should also go to Fort Lauderdale BMW instead. Stay far away from this dealer. By far, this is the absolute worst dealer experience in my entire life. It is worth the ride to go to Fort Lauderdale BMW or the Palm Beach BMW or Miami BMW. Just stay away from this one unless you like to be mistreated and wallet emptied.

Great service.
Good team at Vista. Usually take my car to another BMW dealer, but my friend told me to take it in at Vista. Under maintenance plan, so it didn`t bother to give it a shot. Man, what a difference. They were clearly very busy, but they hustled to get me into a BMW loaner almost as soon as I arrived. Literally, in and out. Excellent attention to detail as they also noticed the rear right light in the cabin was out... view more, and fixed it also even though I don`t think I remembered to tell anyone about that. Great job.

Do NOT Go to Vista BMW
I called Vista BMW and made an appointment to get my windshield replaced. I was told it would take about an hour. When I arrived on the day of my appointment, I waited 1/2 hour before anyone even acknowledged me. Then, after 45 minutes, I was told that there was no record of my appointment, and that there was NO way the work could be done in an hour - it was a minimum of 5 hours. Plus, they were going to farm the wor... view morek out to another company, and could not do it that day. Chris in the collision center was rude, and I left. I will take my business somewhere else, and so should you!

How I wish I would NOT have LEASED
Lucky for you RubyDesign1 that you did NOT lease.... YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN SORRY!!! THEY DID YOU A HUGE FAVOR!! I leased a BMW from them and they stuck it to me real good! They ask me for additional deposit to be returned once the lease was over... but that was only an illusion!! They put more than half of the deposit towards "CAPITALIZED COST REDUCTION" which I found out it means to reduce the monthly pay... view morement???!!?? A small detail that was conveniently overlooked! They also tried to rip me off with an insurance for tires, but I did not fall for that one!! Conclusion: so now I get alot less than half of my deposit especially since there are a pile of "fees" to return the lease, therefore I will be getting enough for dinner at McDonalds. Adriana (financial mgr) is a snake!! KEEP AWAY FROM THOSE PEOPLE!

Deceptive Business Practices
I bought a pre-certified X5. I drove it and accepted it in the ""as is "" condition as you do when you buy a used car. The car smelled heavily like that ""new car"" fragrance. I was hoping it would dissipate. Unfortunately, it did ...ONLY TO REVEAL THE OVERWHELMING SMELL OF A SMOKER`S CAR!! I found soaked frangrance napkins in the arm rest that they must have put there to mask the smoke smell. I am pursuing this with... view more Vista and they are not cooperating. I have sent a letter to BMW of North America and the Better businnes Bureau. I am most likely going to pursue this in court b/c this is deceptive business practice

Rude and unfriendly
Hello Auto Dealer I was shopping for a new vehicle because my lease was up soon, I went to your dealership and was treated with rudeness and ignored when I was asking about a lease deal for one of your vehicle, the salesman tried to push me to go see someone else, and I assume I didn?ˆ™t look the part to lease or own a BMW, so that same day I went to the LEXUS dealership just across the street from you and I was tre... view moreated with the best service a salesman could give, so my advice is to your company is to retrain your sales people to never judge a book by its cover I purchased a LEXUS LS460 Rudy

Great Service!
I had the pleasure of bringing my 2006 760LI into Vista?s service facility Saturday morning, the 25th of October. I was greeted, first by the valet?s as if I was a VIP, buying, rather than servicing my car. The woman at the service desk Lauren was very friendly while I waited to meet my service adviser Jared Solomon. Lauren?s counterpart, Casey and I shared stories about working on cars, and I was kept pleasantly eng... view moreaged until Jared had time to meet with me.

Jared handled my issue, loose control arms, immediately, walking me outside and getting Hans, your alignment specialist, who quickly assessed the situation, sharing a few kind words about growing up in the country, and took my car back to the shop. Jared made sure I had a loaner, and at that point I was quickly out the door.

Nacho, the valet, gave my car a few nice compliments and made sure I had the loaner, inspecting it with me thoroughly.

I was brought back at 5:00pm to pick up my car. Hans had completely fixed the problem, and although it was closing time, Jared, Casey, and the valet made sure I had all my paperwork and my car was cleaned and ready to go. Even at the cashier?s desk, I was treated like family.

All in all, this was a very professional and most pleasant experience. I enacted with a wide variety of your staff, and without fail, each and every one of them had kind words and a few minutes to spare for a very busy Saturday afternoon. 3 other of my employees have purchased cars at Vista, and we are 2 new and 2 used. Without fail, Vista?s service has been the joy of owning a BMW. Nowhere else have I seen the attention and care that I have seen under Vista?s roof. I would highly recommend the BMW experience, Vista?s way, to all of my friends, associates, and relatives.

Congratulations on a job very well done!

PS: Thanks to Gaynor for giving me everyone?s names!

Awful loaner program
If you are going to have a loaner program then make it available to anyone servicing their car at Vista, right? Vista has a policy that if your car is too old then you can`t get a loaner. I was told today that my 2002 bmw was too old and I could not get a loaner - I had to rent a car from Enterprise instead. I am overdue for maintenance and have a couple of things wrong with my car that was going to cost over $250... view more0 in parts/labor. The older the car, the more things to fix. You would think that Vista would want me as a customer since I`m the one spending the most money there.
Also, when I made the appt., I specifically asked for a loaner. The receptionist had all of my information in front of her (we`d been there plenty of times before) and could have easily told me it was not their policy to provide loaners for older models. Instead, she said that I would have to talk to a service manager. I had to actually go to the dealer to find out about their `policy` when she could have told me over the phone. Waste of my time and poor management of customer expectations.
Morale of the story is to either lease your BMW or purchase it but don`t take it to Vista. I`m taking my car to another dealer and telling everyone this story.
