Today I did an online order to pick up at local store 9129 advance autoparts Auburndale Florida after ordering my parts, I noticed I had ordered the incorrect items, and the Items I wanted was 2 dollars more.. I figured, The store will not have an issue fixing or exchanging this.. I was WRONG! I enter the store to pick up my items, I also printed out the correct Items I needed As I entered, Benny, the store ... view moremanager assisted me, I explain what happened, and that I need to exchange for correct parts and I will pay the 2 dollar difference.. Easy as that... WRONG again! Benny now begins to rant, store policy this and that, and He would need to refund the online order... I understand.. need to cancel one and purchase correct parts.. no problem Well, then Benny has now returned and refunded my order, and tells me that I need to pay full price for correct items and that he can not issue the same discount that was online..WHAT? Benny now is explaining that I need to leave the store and go home to do another online order to receive any discounts.. I explained.. YOUR KIDDING! what`s wrong with this picture The difference in the two prices will be two dollars.. why can`t I just give you the two dollars and take home correct parts?.. Benny is now Ranting store policy this and that.. I stop him, I do not care about your policy, I am here to purchase correct items now// Benny refuses unless I pay full price for them and proceeds to tell me that my return cash will be tied up for up to 10 days before I see it returned to my account.. As you can Tell... this simple issue is going down hill fast. I believe there is a underlying racial issue happening at this time.. This Benny, who is the MANAGER of this store, is trying to make me jump through hoops instead of focusing on simple, customer service I call the home office and file a complaint... while AJ, the counter person suggests that I can do an online order using the store computer...(Why did Benny tell me to leave?) I then do an online order from the store.. I ask Benny what my discount code was.. He tells me he can`t help me with that...I told him I kind of figured that!.. So I search yahoo for proper code and place my order I took a beating at this store.. for no reason Now I get home, and District Manger calls me about the complaint I made He explains that Benny has the power to give discounts, match online prices, and could have just accepted the 2 dollars difference.. He did not understand why Benny was creating such an hassle .. and would be visiting the store to correct this issue. He also asked what he could do for me to correct this.. I only want one thing.. a new manager at this store! So be advised.. If you receive a hassle.. make the call to the phone number at bottom of receipt.. hopefully it will make a difference
