The employees here are very friendly. Unfortunately, they have no idea what they`re doing. I took my car there because the front end was making a weird rattling noise. The mechanics apparently didn`t know what was wrong with the car, so they just started replacing things. First they said they needed to replace both axles. Once that was completed and it didn`t work, they decided that it must be the ball joints. ... view moreWhen they quoted me the price for the ball joints, the parts seemed quite expensive. A quick call to AutoZone confirmed that they were trying to WAY overcharge me for the parts. When I asked about it, they admitted that they just decided to get an additional, more expensive part along with it (the control arm). They admitted that the control arm wasn`t needed, but that it would just make their jobs easier if they had the part. (This increased the price of the part by more than 100 percent, but they insisted that we could only use their parts, and they were ordering the ball joint WITH control arm.) The mechanics quoted me a price for replacing the ball joints, stating that they were sure that this would definitely fix the problem with my car. After more than 9 hours of waiting in their "waiting area," they announced that my car was fixed. I got in the car to give it a test drive and didn`t even make it out of the parking lot before realizing that the problem had NOT been fixed. Then to add insult to injury, the mechanics presented me with a bill that was significantly higher than what they had quoted me! When I asked them about it, they said that they had found "a bunch of other parts" that needed to be replaced while they were in there, so they just went ahead and replaced those too....without asking me! So after an entire day wasted sitting in their dingy little waiting area, my car was NOT fixed, and they were charging me about 25 percent MORE than they had quoted me! So instead of paying the price they had quoted and leaving with a fixed car, I left with a still-broken car, and a bill that was much higher than promised! This was the most unprofessional, unethical, infuriating experience I`ve ever had with a mechanic. I would definitely not recommend them for anyone.
