Feeling rather disenchanted from taking my car to 2 different shops to get my exhaust repaired, waiting over 4 hours to be told they couldn?ˆ™t get the parts on Saturday (needed the entire exhaust, including catalytic converter), I posted my woes on facebook. Very Dishonest Business!! I took my Mercedes Benz SL500 here to have catalytic converters replaced and front brake rotors and pads. When I came to pick up my car, my front bumper was demolished! It appeared to have been caught on a lift or curb bumper as it was ripped apart while moving in reverse. Butch denied having done anything. The car was almost not drivable due to parts hanging out but he insisted he did n... view moreothing. My insurance company contacted his, and because there were no witnesses, they denied my claim. Unbelievable that he did not take responsibility for damaging my prized car. I will NEVER go near that place and advise anyone considering it to find someplace else. Bad.

Midway Muffler is awesome. Was the recommended spot for mufflers 15 or so years ago and still is. Was again recommended to Butch at Midway by a relative although I planned to call anyway. First trip for estimate was less than 10 minutes. Looked under the car said he could weld it and it would hold for a long while. I ask for an estimate to repair in the future. I went in twice to this place,...

I went in twice to this place, first time the mufflers actually came of where they had welded it to stay in place, second time the guy thought i had no knowledge on my mustang because im 19, ive been building cars since i was 14 all i needed was an exhaust installed he tells me he cant give me an estimate beacuse he dosent know what exhaust ima buy? i dont see how that made any sense so i left dont go to this place

Midway Muffler shop is the Best....... My brother, Bob Gold, was a famous local Corvette restorer that would only use Butch. I have followed his lead employing Butch for all my work. I could not suggest a more dedicated,competent and fair individual. Thank You Butch for your fine workmanship and personal attention to detail. I`m very happy with Butch at Midway Muffler. My 2005 Mercury Mariner was falling apart every week {brakes- transmission- entire exhaust system, etc.} I had Butch repair another car years ago so I took it to him for an estimate. The local Lincoln Mercury dealer had given me an estimate for the exhaust system of over $4200. Midway`s estimate was $2985. Don`t go to Midway Muffler

Car was worse than when I took in to get repaired, and they didn`t even want to drive the car to see, they made up a bunch of excusses. It doesn`t pay to skimp. I would not recommend to anyone. Plus they were very ignorant.

WARNING - OUT TO GET YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY !!!

Called around to 3 different shops in Wilmington area. Described the job to each - simply weld in my own supplied Catalytic Converter (1). I had prices of $100 on 2 other locations and then called MIDWAY. They gave me a price of $60-$100 at the most so I gave them the job. I send my son up who is 17 and they TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HIM. Gave him some BS about it being more difficult. This was a half hour job for some... view moreone who was skilled at the most. They charged him $200 and he didn`t know any better but pay it with his HARD EARNED MONEY. The job was understood and it was to be $60 - $100 at the worst. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THIS SHOP. There are others around who will not RIP YOU OFF and TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY once you get there and your car is up on the lift. STAY AWAY !!!!!
