I had a winning bid on an eBay auction for a 2008 Subaru Outback that was in "excellent condition, road ready, checked over by All Car Care mechanics". Drove 8 hours round trip to pick it up, Frank, the manager, told me to my face that he doesn`t sell cars that have something wrong with them, so I went on my merry way. Noticed some clunking on the way home, smelled some burning oil, clutch was vibrating... ... view morenext day, check engine light turned on. Took it to my uncle`s shop to go over the car. I have pictures of 2 coke cans wrapped around my exhaust pipe. The car needed $2000 in repairs just to pass inspection! CV joints busted, needed whole new exhaust, clutch was going, a laundry list of repairs. I feel bad for the other poor souls that were screwed over by these crooks. I was able to return the car, lost out on $500 in gas for the whole trip and two weekends of my life wasted. Long story short, I am going to do everything in my power to post my story all over the internet to try and warn the public to stay away!!! I can`t believe that a professional establishment can get away with this. Where are their morals and ethics?

I was contacted by the father ...
I was contacted by the father in law (that`s who he identified himself as) of the young lady whose parents purchased the vehicle. First and foremost the oil was changed, (since i am being accused of lying, my video cameras will prove this) so the statement that i never changed the oil is FALSE. Oil and oil filter were changed. Second of all, the tires were never swapped on that vehicle, whatever tires were on it when... view more it was examined by the customers, and test driven on, were never taken off the car. (My cameras will also show this) so the statement of them being swapped, is also FALSE. The customers came and test drove the car, and examined it prior to putting a deposit on it. When they went on a test drive, there was no complaint of it pulling to the right, otherwise, on the lengthy test drive they took, they would have noticed that, so that statement is also FALSE. There were no mechanical defects at that time. The friend who was more "savvy" was the father in law of the daughter of the purchasers (he identified himself as her father in law), called and spoke with my service manager, and he told them about the claimed problems of the car. My service manager advised him that if there was something wrong with the engine or transmission, they are more than welcomed to bring it back to us and it would be covered under the warranty provided. He also asked the individual if he had examined the car himself, he stated that he had never even seen the car, so my manager asked him to visually inspect, and drive the car before he made claims of it being UNSAFE. I don`t appreciate the fact that I am accused of being a liar, and now all of a sudden the car isn`t safe according to them? Your mechanic, is also a salesman, to bring work into the shop so of course he is going to recommend repairs, so he can make a service sale and put money into his pocket. You purchased a car that was road worthy and safe, and was $2800 under blue book value that needed no repairs when you test drove it, and picked it up. Seeing as how I can prove that their claims of oil never being changed, and tires were swapped are blatantly FALSE, I believe this is a fraudulent claim against me. Accusing me of shady behavior and slipshod salesman, is something that you should refer to your mechanic as being, since he hit you with a $2000.00 repair bill. We did not take advantage of you in anyway. There was nothing wrong with the car when they picked it up. Word of advice to the customers and the individual who contacted us claiming to be "the father in law ", CAMERAS DO NOT LIE. You clearly lied on filing this claim with the Better Business Bureau about the oil change and tires, so I know for a fact you are lying about the other claims that are being made about the car, and the claims about myself. Secondly, (AS MY MANAGER STATED TO THE INDIVIDUAL WHO CONTACTED US ON THE PHONE),

Because having my car totaled ...
Because having my car totaled in my driveway two days before Thanksgiving wasn`t bad enough and obtaining a used car loan was so simple and easy for me, I am so glad that the "new used" car I just bought from ALL CAR CARE in Waterbury is in "mint condition." Not only do all four tires need to be replaced, but I also need rear brakes, a micro v belt, a windshield washer resivoir and... view more countless cosmetic repairs; things that were "fine" and unmentioned during the test drive last week. You would assume that one would notice the wheel pulling to the right on a test drive as quickly as I did driving the car home Wednesday. Everything about this place is fishy and those who sold me the car have proven to be liars as the "oil change they just did" had never been done either. It makes me sick knowing some people are okay with taking advantage of young girls. I hope that in the very least these people will change the ways in which they run their business. They were highly unhelpful and unprofessional when told about the necessary repairs that need to be done and after everything I have found, your garage is the LAST place I will be getting any repairs done. I also bought this car; six days ago- and it is still up for sale on this website. I would not reccomend this dealership to ANYONE. I would rate negative stars if I could. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&csDlId=&csDgId=&listingId=101328638&listingRecNum=12&criteria=sf1Dir%3DDESC%26stkTyp%3DU%26crSrtFlds%3DstkTypId-feedSegId%26rn%3D0%26PMmt%3D0-0-0%26stkTypId%3D28881%26sf1Nm%3Dprice%26isDealerGrouping%3Dfalse%26rpp%3D50%26feedSegId%3D28705%26dlId%3D10316123&aff=national&listType=1

Horrible!!! These people including the owners are illiterate and unprofessional. The sales manager Frank made arrangement with me, had me drive two hours and then vanished?ˆ¦ No calls, no text, not a peep?ˆ¦ Called the owner the next day and found him to be a waste of time as well, he proceeded to curse at me and say that maybe the guy was having fun with you and that it was my fault for taking him seriously. I?ˆ™m amazed ... view morethat in this day and age people like this exist and do business. Just an FYI, I can?ˆ™t imagine anyone has had a good experience with these guys but if they have it was by pure luck. All the reviews that say great and what not are either fabricated or one of the lucky ones?ˆ¦ Steer clear of this place, I should have?ˆ¦

Everything about this place is...
Everything about this place is bad. I truly don`t know how they are still in business. Bought a car for $5000 and it didn`t even make it home. Bad head gasket, blown shocks on 2 wheels, bad radiator, bad heating core, car is junk. These guys are serious criminals and need to be locked up. They are responsible for leaving a 60 year old women with no car and no money to buy a new one in the dead of winter.

If there was an option for 0 s...
If there was an option for 0 stars, I would choose that. Took a $500 deposit on a "showroom condition" car. The car was dirty & greasy, and it had torn seats, bottomed-out shocks, brakes worn to the rotors and a stability control failure while I was driving it. The owner tried to tell me that the failure is just because my wheels were spinning. I refused to take delivery based on his lies, a... view morend he then refused my deposit. Please look these guys up and you will see similar stories. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE THIEVES!

Absolute crooks
I bought a car online. They were taking part in auction fraud through different sites to increase the bidding. The pictures of the car were not even close to the condition. The seats were all torn up and greasy, the shocks were a wreck and the breaks were worn beyond belief. There was also ""stability control failure"" warning while I was test driving. Unbelievable. I had to travel 2 hours to see it and that`s the ""... view moreshowroom condition"" car that they promised??? They STOLE a $500 deposit. and refused to give it back. I only write this to make sure that nobody gets trapped by them and they lose at least $500 business in the process!!
