This place saved me! I had a transmission problem last year, and the big box name down the road said I needed to have it rebuilt for $2900 no other option. I went to AAMCO for a 2nd opinion and they fixed the problem for $300. I did not need a new transmission. My car is happy and Im VERY happy. Recently my transmission broke...

Recently my transmission broke down at the worse possible time. I was out of town and stressed with the options that I had with a different repair shop near the break down. I began to shop around and one of the places I contacted was AAMCO on Boston road in Springfield. Everyone that I spoke to there was friendly and very understanding to the situation. Especially Anthony and the owner Bob. They went out of their w... view moreay to make a terrible situation a bit more bearable. It was the best customer service I have ever received from any auto repair shops I`ve been to. After the initial call they followed up as a courtesy with options for me to make the repairs to my vehicle easier to manage. My vehicle was not mobile so after agreeing to have them do the work a tow truck was sent by them and they took it from there. The work was done a lot faster than I had expected. It was a lot less painless thanks to the guys down at the Boston road AAMCO. It was a great choice for me and I plan on using them again in the future!

I love these guys. They explained everything clearly to me, actually lifted up the car to point out things underneath the body so I would know the condition of my car for future repairs, and Anthony was very respectful and forthcoming with pricing and my options for service. This was my first experience with this Aamco and I will be returning the next time I need a repair!

Sucks

Car has been back three times to get fixed and after spending 3000 the first time you would think that`s all you would need. Have not yet fixed it correctly

Not Recommended

They overbooked my reservation, then the associates could not even help me with another type of uhaul. They were not as informed about hitches as I would have prefered, and were generally unhelpful
