Great Service

Have had two opportunities to use their service and both have been incredibly smooth and convenient. They made arrangements for a me to have a rental car at a very affordable rate and had it ready when I got there. repairs on both occasions were done on schedule and were completed on time. A great experience.

Best Possible Case Scenario!!

It`s never a good day when you have to go to a collision repair service. Luckily, these folks made the interaction as easy as possible. They took extra special care of my car (even going so far as to remove an extra dent in the rear bumper that was not related to the damage in the front!) Excellent Service - Made it easy for me

Dave and his staff did an excellent job repairing my vehicle and went out of their way to make sure it was done right the first time. My vehicle was returned cleaner than when I bought it, thanks! However, it was Mary Ann who made my experience there simply wonderful. When I was having problems with the insurance company, she called them up and settled everything for me...more than once! I?ˆ™ve been driving since 1964 and have never been in an accident nor ever had damage done to my car ?ˆ¦ until Christmas week. Dave understood my situation and within a minute took out a tool, popped the sheet-metal parts, put in a screw and a clamp and bingo ?ˆ¦ it was ready to go all is less than a half hour. Treated like a member of family

I dreaded the responce I was going to get but I needed to fix my daughters car...
I was met by a gentleman named Dave who took the time to explain the process and the needed parts with an option to use new or used. The estimate was quick and handeled thru my insurance adjuster, the only thing I needed to do was drop the car off.

Working on a VERY tight budget I was shocked and overwhelmed when Maryann informed me that the extra work would be included in the bill. First Major repair

I had my first major accident and my car was towed to Bolton Collision. Not knowing much about the process I was overwhelmed. Maryann was very professional and was available to answer alot of questions. As well when the adjuster came back with the estimate the owner, Dave took the time to explain every part to me. He also explained how you felt about refrubished part and used parts and understood my concern for u... view morese of those parts on my 2009 car. After agreeing to have the repair done at their shop, I was impressed with how prompt they were in contacting me when the repair was completed. What was even better was that Maryann was able to get ahold of my insurance company and speed up the payment process when I had failed to get ahold of them after multiple days` worth of attempts. When I went to actually pick up my car, it was amazing the condition of my car. As I said I have never been through a major accident before, I expected my car to look like a ""repaired car"". This was not the case. The car was spotless inside and out. Looked as good as the day I bought it brand new off the car lot. I was impressed. Bolton Collision was professional and patient through the whole process I would recommend them to anyone in the future requiring repair.

Excellent autobody work

My experience at Bolton Collision Repair was beyond my expectation. I couldn`t believe how great my car looked - not just the damaged area - which was perfectly repaired -but the entire car! It didn`t even look that nice the day I picked it up from the dealer. Great job - thanks to Dave and his crew...and Maryann made the paperwork so easy - they know how to relieve the stress from an accident!

Beyond the Call

Returning to Connecticut from my wedding shower at my mother`s home in Virginia, I was struck by a car which was struck by a semi while waiting at a complete stop in traffic trying to cross over the GW in New York. The semi was traveling too fast around the bend and did not have enough time to stop when he realized the change in traffic conditions. Ironicly, there was no real reason for traffic to be completely stopp... view moreed except for a van`s inability to change lanes properly.

Needless to say, the three car pile-up was shocking and made worse by the trooper who handled the scene, the summer heat, and the unsafe conditions we had to wait in while everything was processed. Did I mention this was the third time I was going to have to have my car`s bumper repaired . . . the other two times my car was parked and I wasn`t even in it!

I was able to drive my car home, but there was serious damage to the car`s bummer and the driver`s side. When I called my insurance company they told me Bolton Collision was the repair shop closest to my home and suggested I take it there. I called Bolton and they took my car in that day to assess the damage.

From the beginning it was clear they had my best interest at heart. They told me that my car was too poorly off to drive and another hit could cause me serious, personal injuries. They called my insurance company and the rental company, as well as provided me with a ride to pick up my replacement car.

I drove the rental no farther than six miles when it got a flat! I called the rental place which would not help me without a charge, so I called Triple A and waited. After picking up my second rental, I was charged $50 for a new tire and was seriously frustrated with Hertz. They could not find any outside damage with the tire (nor could the Triple A guy), but charged me for the tire anyway.

I returned the rental after four days and went on a much needed vacation. When I returned, my car was not finished yet, but Bolton had already cleared a new rental with my insurance. I told them about my ordeal with Hertz and my unwillingness to give them anymore of my business, so they called Enterprise and I was on the road again.

Finally finding the time to listen to my voicemail- I had a message from Bolton saying they heard I had a flat with the rental and they were wondering where I was so they could come and help me! This is a car repair shop . . . they were going above and beyond the call of duty. Obviously it was an old message, but their kindness was not lost on me.

Finally, when I picked up my car, she looked brand new. The inside was clean, the outside shined, and they even replaced the doom light that had been out for at least a year! After thanking them and paying my deductible they handed me a check- $50 for the tire on the rental. Are you kidding me???

I have never written a review and I most likely never will again, but the people at Bolton Collision were truely that awesome . . . and the people at Enterprise didn`t suck either.

Simply Outstanding

On May 22, 2010 at 4:15 pm, my car was parked in front of the Federal Tax Bldg in Hartford Ct. I walked out of the bldg and found my car had been hit and totaled by someone driving and texting. The police had already been called and we`re arriving on the scene. Being a 1st time crash victim I was clueless on how this all worked. I needed my car towed,stored, fixed or inspected who knows? That`s from Bolton to downtown Hartford in peak traffic time! From that moment on I knew despite the facts 1 good thing came out of it. I know longer had to worry about the car.
The car was towed, stored in a secure location and Bolton Collision dealt with the adjusters. In bad times this is the kind of service that makes one business stand out above the rest. There are 100`s of autobody/tow companies in Ct. All I know is I made the right choice.
