New Management Makes Huge Difference

I recently came to Midas in Hamden to have some work done on my car, and I must say that I was completely and utterly shocked by the poor reviews given by previous customers on this website. Apparently the store is under new management, and based on what the previous users have posted it seems that the new manager has completely turned the place around. It is too bad that the dissatisfied customers comments cannot be changed, because their experience with this Midas was the polar opposite of my own. Cannot recommend it any higher.

Fantastic New Manager Provides Great Service

I had had some poor experiences with this store in the past, but when I saw they had a new manager, I thought I would give them another try. I am so glad I did! The new manager, Rich, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He worked with my budget and did not try to sell me anything I didn`t need. He had them work on my car right away and I was out within the hour. I will definitely return there as long as thi... view mores manager is in the office. Call ahead and make sure you go there on a day he is there. It`s a pleasant location to wait too. Several restaurants and shops right there to occupy myself while the work was being done, and easy on-off access to the highway connector.

After struggling for a bit to get him to itemize it, he broke it down into two prices of $79 and $158; what these were for I, again, could not get him to state clearly. The worst place ever

Ok. they deleted every reviews that i wrote about them. I do not know how they did, but they did. I dont feel like to re write two page review about them again, but just do not go there. They put over charge on every where. They do not even check out what the real problem is. They assume you wouldn``t know anythin. They charged me $1000 of oil pump problem but from another place they charged me $270 and it wasnt even... view more ther problem with oil pump but engine coils that this midas has replaced few weeks ago. They over price. They dont know or dont care about real problem. They always ask you to leave a car for them to test drive. They drive with this dirted gloves on and makes your seat and wheel DISGUSTING. Plus they deleted all the reviews i wrote. If they do this once more i might have to sue them or something. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE, trust me you will not get antyhing worth you pay and plus you will even get more problem.
