Reviews:
first impression when you walk in to Derick`s place is how clean it is, more like operating room. I had new rims installed by other shop and after 4 times of balancing my wheels I still had a shaking in my steering wheel. Within 45 min Derick fixed all problems. He is my hero.

Very Professional. My mechanic referred me to the wheel doctor after I felt a vibration in my steering wheel at 50mph and one of my tires had a slow leak. They just moved to a new facility in Yonkers, NY with lifts so they now take the wheel off of your car. I was very satisfied, they showed me the damage to both my wheels and repaired it while I waited. They have fancy equiptment that provided me with a printout... view more after they were done. Pleasant experience.

A LITTLE BIT OF A HEADACHE
had a dent on the passenger front of my G35. the vibration started getting worse so i took it to Mavis & they said the wheel was bent so i found wheel doctor in elmsford. he was local & i needed it fixed but i had to go back to Mavis have them remove the wheel from the car, put my spare on & then bring it to him.
Next day when it was ready i had to pick it up & go back again to the tire store to have them put it on ... view morethe car.
I really wish this guy could have just jacked up my car & switched it there. It also cost more because i had to pay the tire shop to do some of the work.
i later found out about some places in long island that do the work & install it too.
Next time i will drive a littler further

Wheel Repair
You must be the Owner of Dum Sport. My friend took a wheel to them to be repaired; they burned it up with a torch and it was still bent. I recommended The Wheel Doctor; yes he is more expensive (not $225) but he does an A1 job and provides computer printouts of rim runout and Hunter RoadForce balance to back up his work. Anyone who would go to Dunn Sport is penny wise & pound foolish.
