No Warranty for Self Installed Products
I purchased seven double pane glass sections from these folks in late fall.
When they were delivered they were left outside. That day we had a heavy rain.
When I went to install them a couple days later one of them had about a quarter inch of water in it. The double pane glass was not sealed properly.
So I took it back and they replaced it. It took about two weeks to get a replacement.
As winter set in and it g... view moreot cold one of the windows developed a moisture ring inside it from getting rained on when it was sitting outside. It was not visible until there was a temperature difference between the inside and outside of the house.
So at this point I am thinking I am going to have a tarp on my house for two weeks while waiting for a replacement. So I stop by and tell them I have another window coming back, but it will have to wait until spring.
Spring comes and they do not want to deal with it. They tell me that since I installed the windows there is no warranty.
So months later, I am still dealing with the fact that the windows got rained on, they were not sealed properly, and even though I brought it to their attention right away, it must be my fault for improper installation.
If I had known I was buying windows without a manufacturers warranty, I would have found a business that provided that.
In all, this has been a very disappointing experience.
