Re:KMB1
Riverside Motorcars, LLC completed over $4500 in repairs to Mr. May`s vehicle. BBB, as well as theCT DMV, believed that Riverside had gone above and beyond any obligations. When Mr. May continued his attempt to get more, he went to small claims court. The courts, again, felt Riverside had gone beyond their obligations, and Mr. May lost the case.

Happy with my purchase
I purchased a vehicle at Riverside and the experience was pleasant. The car was as described, and the photos were a good representation of the vehicle. Registration was taken care of by the dealer, which as a father of young children, saved me some time. I was initially worried about the reviews, but the price was right, so I gave them a shot. So far I am very happy with my purchase, but I will be sure to... view more follow up my review accordingly in 60 days or so, when my warranty expires.

Rip off artists
These guys are professional rip off artists. I have read many of the complaints about them and my story is the same. How can they get away with this time after time? Wheres the justice? Many of us have lost a lot of money as they scam the world. If there is legal justice i will be looking for it. Everyone should talk with BBB, the states attorney, DMV . There has to be away to put them out of business. Class action s... view moreuit perhaps? Discern and discuss

Joseph Salinardi - Riverside Motorcars
Be glad you Google`d this dealership before purchasing a car from them - I wasnt so lucky. I, too, fell victim to Joe`s scam. I put a deposit on a car from Joe that needed a bit of work before I could take delivery. After 4 weeks of constant lies and deceit, Joe offered me a refund on my deposit. I accepted, and never received a check. Joe used every excuse in the book, and even blamed it on the mailman at one p... view moreoint. Long story short, it never came, and it took the intervention of the DMV (and a hearing) to get Joe to cough up my cash - over a year later.
If you`re currently dealing with this POS, and are having issues, immediately save all email conversations and report your problem to the DMV; They know him very well. Good luck.
BTW, Joe is now located in Waterbury as the landlord in Beacon Falls would not renew his lease. The entire town rallied around removing him from their main street. After he had moved, they wrote ""NO MOJO"" on the dealerships window - an expression of how happy they were. Sure speaks volumes.

Beware of Salinardi`s Riverside Motorcars (Waterbury, former
If you`re thinking about buying a used vehicle from Joseph or Christian Salinardi, think again, because you`ll be headed for a world of hurt. My daughter`s first car buying experience turned from joy to nightmare as Riverside Motors systematically misled, stalled and outright lied to us (I was a co-signer on the purchase and loan). It was only through nearly three weeks of DMV complaints, calls to the Connecticut Att... view moreorney General`s office, and ultimately the threat of being further exposed for as the crooks they are, that the Salinardi`s finally agreed to refund the purchase price of a used car that LITERALLY broke down a few miles down the road after we signed all the paperwork finalizing the deal. What first appeared to be a good faith effort on their part to fix it, was actually part of a pattern we discovered too late by ""googling"" them only to discover they had a history of successfully ripping off unsuspecting customers in part by stalling their victims with an endless series of phony stories. I`m usually pretty good at spotting a BS artist, but Joe Salinardi is VERY good at looking you straight in the eye while he fabricates a story about how he`s taking care of you. I can`t say the same for his son Christian, because in hindsight, I can`t recall a single time when he actually looked me in the eye.
If you are in the unfortunate position of having already begun doing business with them and are having trouble, the first thing you should do is complete the Connecticut DMV K-35 Dealer Complaint Form, fax it with attached page(s) detailing your issues with them and let the Salinardi`s know you`re in the process of faxing it to the DMV.
When they stop returning your phone calls (and they will) the only way to get a message through to them may be to use the web form on the website.

scam artits
These guys completely rip customers off. Any good reviews are just a fluke. Lost many thousands, and I know cars well. I thought I could judge the car by what I saw, but they actually covered up the issues. Completely unwilling to help after the issues became apparent. They were downright nasty to deal with once they had my money. I would never buy so much as a pencil from them. I have heard them talk about w... view morehat cars they are looking to buy - they don`t care about accident history, mechanical issues - they just want cars that are WAY cheap and will sell fast. AVOID at all costs
