If customer service is not important to you, this is the place to go. I received a recall from Acura for my 2009 Acura RDX regarding the air conditioning clutch. When making the appointment, I was told to allow 2 - 2 1/2 hours for the work to be completed. When I arrived, the person who took my information, advised me that he`d "have me out in less than an hour"and I also asked for the rear differential fl... view moreuid to be changed. . After waiting approximately 1 1/2 hrs, he approached me with a list of over $700. in fluids that needed to be replaced. When I looked at the list, I recognized fluids that I had already had replaced recently. I told him the records were in the glove box. He came back to me and told me that he was not trying to rip me off, but the fluids "looked dark". I asked him to please make the repair and change the fluid as requested. I was then informed, that there was nothing wrong that they could find the the air conditioning (even though it had stopped working twice) and they would not be performing the recall work. 3 1/2 hours later, I left with a bill of $279,+, no recall work done, only the rear differential fluid and a belt replaced. This, unfortunately, is not the end of the story. Acura called to follow up with a survey on how my service went. When I responded, the woman I spoke with apologized and told me she`d have the service manager contact me. I received a call a few days later, returned the call and waited another week plus before the person returned my call. When I finally received the return call, it was not the service manager, but the same person who I dealt with initially. I then called the service manager and explained my issues with the service. He told me he`d "have to do a little investigating" and would return my call, "not tomorrow, but soon". Two weeks later, you guessed it, no phone call. I contacted the General Manager of the dealership who explained to me why I was wrong about everything and being unfair when I said, "If this is the way, you`d like to run your dealership..." The general manager did phone me back and offered to have me bring my car in once again, but I refused. I`m frankly not willing to waste my time so that can tell me they won`t perform the recall work unless they can see the problem happening. The punchline to this long tale is that my car is at about 98,000 miles and the warranty for the recall work expires at 100,000. Be very cautious when dealing with this dealership.

Shame On You Acura!! Worst Dealership Ever!!
Will never purchase a vehicle nor have my vehicle seviced again at Acura of Milford. Had the worst experiences with them. Everyone be very aware of this place. I needed a bigger vehicle (having a baby) so I traded my 09 Jeep Wrangler (mint condition) for their 08 Jeep Liberty(lemon). The Liberty had serious leaking problems. When it rained, it rained in the car. The heater did not work (smelled like something burning... view more & thick dirty air would come out not healthy to breath in) I never experienced anything like this at any other dealership. I felt like I was at a side used car shop, not a dealership. The day I took the Liberty off the lot I asked if everything was done including the vin etching. I asked 3 times and he said Yes. I got home and looked at the windows. There was no vin etching. In which that should have been done, especially when they told me yes. The Liberty came with warrenty (of course, the vehicle was over $17,000, thats a law) they took the car in to fix (which took over a month) they fixed the leak, but they wouldn`t fix the stains the water caused (they said it was not under warrenty). The water was leaking in the vehicle of course the water stains should have been fixed & anything else that was damaged caused by the water. Anyway, they would not fix that. Just so you know this was at the end of my pregnancy( talk about stress they caused me). Then the day I delivered my son I recieve a phone call from them that the heater was not on warrenty. Its a heater we live in CT & its winter. I need heat of course especially with a newborn. How can you sell a vehicle and the heater doesn`t work, are you kidding me?? Absolutely ridiculous. Then they finally said ok we will fix it and the thick bad air smell(Well, the thick bad air smell is stll there). Also, there is Absolutely NO Customer Satisfaction!!! While all this happening and taking over a month, Not only was I disrespected by them with rudeness, they Never called me to tell me how progress was going with the vehicle being fixed vehicle. I always called them to check in. Then asked the service dept. to also have my free complimentary vehicle oil change done while its in there. He said that it was done as well as vacuum & car wash. Thinking that my vehicle that I just purchased from there is finally fixed. I pick it up oil change not done, car wash not done, vacuuming not done. I had metal pieces all over the place from when they welded to fix the the leak, very dirty from them in & out of this vehicle. The only thing he could say to me was Sorry. What??? Not saying all Acura Dealerships are bad, but yes Acura of Milford is!! Acura of Milford you should be ashamed of yourselves!! You have a lot of shaping up to do!! Starting with not selling lemons & better staff that will treat your customers with respect!! I am disgusted & stuck with a vehicle that I can`t stand to look at or be in with what I put up with. Shame on you Acura of Milford!!!!
