Reviews:
All American is such a great repair shop. The owner, Steve, is awesome and I totally trust the work they do. I`d recommend them to anyone looking for auto repair, especially if you have a Jeep or SUV (which I do). They specialize in those.

Really impressed with All American. My Jeep has had some odd/unusual issues. These guys know their stuff when it comes to Jeeps. First went to them with a weird/tough-to-diagnose handling issue with my Jeep. Two other mechanics couldn?t find the issue and one suggested this was ??normal?? for my vehicle. AA took my concerns seriously and kept the Jeep for two days to really go through it. They provided me a rental c... view morear at their expense so as to not be hurried in their diagnostics. They found and repaired the issues(s), the car drove as it did when I first bought it.
I have been back to AA several times since then. It?s a Jeep thing?¦. (Going to the shop fairly often). Every time the staff is polite, attentive and takes the time to educate me about what is wrong with/how to properly repair my vehicle. The key there is properly. I?ve come to understand that AA pays attention to the details in their work and I?ve never had to take the vehicle back for something done not quite right.
This review is a kudos to Steve (owner) for going above and way beyond helping me recently with a rear brake squeak issue. I tried another mechanic locally for the brake work (new rotors/pads) to save maybe $50?¦mistake. I took the vehicle back to the other shop three times to get the squeak issue resolved with minimal success. Wishing I had just gone to AA initially, I took the vehicle in to Steve. He looked at the rotors, listened to my concerns and told me what it would take to get them quiet again as they should be. The job would need to be re-done, properly. On a busy day, he readily took the time to educate me as to the details of what constitutes a brake job done properly. So the above and way, way beyond part?¦he did the work at next to no cost to me because I had been such a good customer. The brakes are quiet again and I am relieved to be out from under the suboptimal brake work from the other shop.
Many thanks to Steve and his staff for doing the quality of work that they do for a fair price.

we purchased a used suburban in 2012. Took it to All American to have some work done on the car.. Everything was done correctly that time.
Fast forward to Spring 2013 at which time once again we bring in the suburban for some work..Not good it took 4 trips over the course of 4-5 months to get the problem fixed..Each time the owner Steve had a reason why they weren`t responsible of anything that was going on with the... view more vechicle. However had the system been flushed the first time many of the issues our car had probably would have been non-issues.
The last time I took the car to All American was June 2013. Again same problem had come up that Steve had reassured us was fixed and would no longer be an issue.. well lo and behold I was back.
This time I went in myself (my husband was working). I figured in this day and age the is no reason a woman would be treated any different than a man at the mechanics.. I was WRONG.. there is a employee named Russ who works there. He is a very arrogant man.
Upon arriving at the shop I asked Russ for a copy of the cars records as they had them (yeah big tip off 50% of the time we never got reciepts on the work done.) I asked Russ for a copy to which he told me that he had just emailed a copy to husband so I said Id still like one so we are on the same page.
Never got them, he just sat at his computer.
Fast forward
Finally Steve comes in at which point I ask Steve for a copy of the suburbans records. Russ is then again asked to get them.. He provides me with 3 of 5 pieces and throws them at me. i say next time do you think you could just get them when I ask. He replies "there you got them you should be happy now". He was like a small child very antagonizing. I believe Russ to be treating women as second class citizens at All American. I have never been so disrespected at a place of legitmate business in my life.
Making all these little meh meh meh comments.
I spoke to Steve said I did not think Russ was doing him any favors he lacks customer service skills. Steve agreed. Steve said he was moving him to parts depart (lie)
I spoke to Steve at the time of this back in june 2013 and told him I was planning to leave feedback. I told him that I would leave good feedback for him and his shop guys however I could not give the shop overall good ratings because of the way I was treated by Russ. Steve then begged me not to leave any feedback at all.. I told him I would be honest and I feel that I am recounting the story.
BTW my husband did go back once in July 2013 again same issue with the car and again encountered Russ at the front desk. Russ again showed his professionalism saying to my husband.. "bye bye dont come back, bye bye"
WOMEN Beware THis is not a place for us second class citizens..

All American Four Wheel Drive ...
All American Four Wheel Drive Repair in Littleton, Colorado, is the only place I will take my SUV. They do excellent work and the repair costs are very reasonable. I also love that they will take me to/from home/work during the repair. The staff is very friendly and always treat me like a VIP. I highly recommend them!!

My history with these guys spa...
My history with these guys spans 3 years and half a dozen repairs. Here?s why I`m done with them.
2/21/2007 Remove and Reseal Transfer Case. I noticed a few weeks later (while trying to figure out while it was still dripping slightly) that they forgot to reattach a breather tube on the transfer case. Took it back to have them fix it. Still drips to this day bad enough to keep a drip pan under the car.
2/23/20... view more07 New transmission. I had to bring it back within a day because it wasn?t shifting correctly. They didn?t flush the torque converter the first time. They said it was filled with debris from transmission cooler that had torn itself up. Works fine since then.
3/18/2010 Replace Intake Manifold gasket. A few months later (Sept) they tell me that it?s leaking again. They were surprised when I said it?d just been done a few months before BY THEM! They checked records and repaired it under warranty.
9/7/2010 Starter replaced. NEVER had any problems with my starter. While it?s in for the warranty intake manifold, they tell me it`s not starting. When I pick it up, I ask about the starter. They bring out a part that the guy says is ??my starter??. He shows me how the solenoid corrodes and becomes loose over time. That may be, but it ain?t MY STARTER. I changed my own oil/filter every time for the last 16 years. Everytime I change the filter I wipe off the starter because it?s right below the filter and you get oil on it. The starter he shows me is corroded (on the outside) and has probably never been wiped off in it?s service life. I know what my starter looked like and that ain?t my starter. Not to mention the fact that I had NEVER had any problems with the starter, but lo and behold there?s a problem when it?s in for warranty work. The cherry on top? I get home and there a starter mounting bracket hanging down inches from the ground that?s supposed to be mounted to the starter.
9/7/2010 Replaced Thermostat in conjunction with Water Jacket Plugs. Two months later 11/18/2010 I have a stuck thermostat. They warranty replace it, but sheesh?¦.Come On!! This is getting ridiculous
11/18/2010 Took it in to get the stuck thermostat replaced. Also had very low heat. Said they`d warranty replace the thermostat and backflush the heater core. They also told me I needed a new O2 sensor. Funny thing though, I pulled the codes right before I took it in. There was no code shown for O2 sensor. They took several days to do this relatively simple job, during which I was without my car. Never called me back when they said they would. I was pissed and complained. Steve did refund $370 which was the entire bill. That was a respectable customer service move and I appreciated it. Upon further investigation, I still have low heat. I backflush core myself. It worked AWESOME! My heater is now probably 80% of what it was like brand new. Hasn?t worked this well in years. So I have to ask myself. Did these guys really backflush my core? Doubt it.
Now let?s get to Parts. It took me way too long to notice this, but these guys mark up parts to ridiculous levels. I realize most shops mark up parts a little bit, especially those they have to keep in stock. That?s fair, but in my asking around it seems like the markups are in the 10%-25% range. These guys double and triple parts prices! The below table is what they?ve charged me over the years for parts. This isn?t the repair. There is NO labor in these numbers. Just the cost of the part. Here?s some examples of what they charged followed by what NAPA charges for the part:
Serpentine Belt: $77, $38
Belt tensioner: $149, $59
Idler Pulley: $56, $22
Water pump: $176, $50
Motor mount: $140, $54
Starter (reman.): $295, $140
Radiator hose: $35, $20
02 sensor: $176, $39
I realize not every shop is perfect, but they`ve been consistently bad enough for me to say, I`m done. Caveat emptor!

I just read the review by ""Avargo1"". I
I just read the review by ""Avargo1"". I have to say...this has either got to be a lying competitor....or a liar in general. There is no ""Godzilla"" working here. I`ve been going to All American for years.
Also....NOBODY at All American would ever treat a customer the way that this dude describes. NO WAY...NOT EVER!! I know the owner personally since I`ve been going there for....oh...about 16 years! Steve...the o... view morewner would FIRE someone in a heartbeat over that action...and EVERYONE knows it!!!
They are very nice when they greet you. They explain what the problem is and will fix it quickly. Nobody is perfect...but I have only had a couple of concerns about the repairs over the past 16 years. Steve made sure that all of my concerns were handled and repairs were completed as needed. No problems!
If you want knowledgable, trust worthy mechanical work for your vehicle. This is the place. If you want mediocre, stupid mechanics who don`t know their head from a hole in the ground....go elsewhere. It`s that simple.

Awesome
I was browsing the web and came across the 1 star review about all american. I would like to comment about the staff and service that they provide. It just so happens that I was there that day picking up my jeep, and the lady that the gentleman was referring to happens to be Karen the owners wife. They were very busy that afternoon. The front counter help were all assisting other people, and Karen was passing thro... view moreugh the office and tried to help the gentlemen out. From my perspective I did not feel that Karen was rude. My first visit to this shop was over 10 years ago. From my first visit they showed me was true customer service is and still after 10 years perform as well if not better than my first visit. It is too bad that the gentleman did not have the time to find out what a wonderful family All American is.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!!
Well I guess they dont want you to come in and speak to someone about spending money or getting any services done? As I walked in at 4:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon, I was greated by godzilla woman at the front desk, asking me, excuse me, can I help you.
Q: Well I have heard of a 1.5 inch leveling kit for the front of my 2007 GMC, do you do that kind of work?
Response: SIr you have to make an appointme... view morent to do that!
Q: well I have a few questions regarding that and a few other items, is ther anyone that can help me with that?
Response: Do you have an appointment? Very RUDELY, in a degrading tone. She acted as if no one has ever come in and wanted to consult with a mechanic before, or someone who might want to update or accesorise thier truck and has a few quesitons? I dont get it!
I left without giving my two cents, because I had nothing nice to say.
I had an interest in new exhaust system (so I was left going to Bud`s on Santa Fe and 10th street), a front leveling kit, air bags suspension for my bed, and possibly new shocks as my truck has a lot of miles on it. Well, I was a bother for them andI count my blessings that I didn;t get half way into something with them and then find out what a bunch of A-holes this palce was. Dont expect much!
