Worst hack and con-artist I`ve ever run across. Fortunately Charlie Shook and Peak to Peak are out of business. Had to take him to court to get reimbursed for the "repairs" they performed on my vehicle. Bobby Rogers, you are SOL. They kept my 2000 Acura for 11 days, and after $3700 I picked it up. The car it had grease spread around on the inside. Now that I am having some issues (inside of 60 days) it appears that they are out of business. I called and Charlie`s voicemail said, "we are temporarily closed for maintenance I left 2 messages, and now the voicemail is full. These guys are the best. Charlie and Lyle were extremely helpful when I called with the problem I was having with my vehicle. I brought it in for a diagnostic and it confirmed the problems I had been having. They quoted me a price to repair my vehicle and had it finished on the exact day they said they would. I`ve dealt with several transm...

I`ve dealt with several transmission shops in town over the past year for differential, transfer case and transmission solenoid repair and haven`t been 100% satisfied. When my reverse went out in my `02 Explorer, Peak to Peak was extremely easy to talk to and I felt like they were shooting it to me straight. When I brought my car in, Charley (the owner) was there outside and went back to get someone to help me right away. Lyle was extremely kind and got me set up with a rental car to use during the duration of the repair. I had a few questions and he even took me back to the shop and explained the answer to my questions showing me a transmission that was already taken apart. (This is rare for other shops to do.) The repair took a few days longer than expected, but wasn`t an issue given that I had a rental car to use! While they had my transmission apart they also noticed a leak from my transfer case, an issue I took into another past shop THREE times only for them to tell me it was fixed or not an issue at all. Peak to Peak graciously helped cover that repair for me. So far it`s been several days since my overhauled transmission and so far so good. Unbelievably rude. I honestly ...

Unbelievably rude. I honestly cannot tell you about their work on transmissions directly, because they never even got me as a customer. I called up on the phone to ask some questions about some of the noises my Ford Ranger Transmission was making, and he literally insulted me! He become incredibly upset, accused me of "setting him up for failure," etc. I even apologized to him for anything I had done to ups... view moreet him, and he kept ranting on me. Eventually I just had to hang up. Honestly, I was in disbelief. I seriously hope he just had a bad day or something, but either way. I certainly will never bother calling them again. I`m a local and not surprised ...

I`m a local and not surprised to read that Charlie treats his out-of-town customers the way he treats me. He is that kind of guy. He has performed transmission work on 3 of my vehicles and if he worked on motorcycles and tractors, he would get that business as well. A while back, I was in serious need of a Jeep transfer case and one could not be found, even by dealers. Charlie and his crew are simply the best! After my original transmission repair on my 1997 Chyrsler sebring Convertible, they checked it out for me again on three occasions when I had questions. This last time, well out of the warranty period, I brought it to them for a suspected leak. Turned out to be a loose coolant hose.
