Best brakes plus in town, frie...
Best brakes plus in town, friendly and knowledgable consultants. Always had good experience, every time I bring any of my vehicle.

They won`t EVER get my business again!
I took my vehicle there to get an alignment done. Not even 6 months later, I find myself buying 2 new tires at over $250 because there ""alignment"" was off by almost TWO DEGREES toe in/out. They tried to blame the excessive tire wear on my measly little -1.5 degrees of camber, since my car has been lowered. I knew this was not the case, as 3/4 of the tire showed wear, not the inner 1""-2"" you would expect from exce... view moressive camber. But I purchased a decent camber kit for the vehicle and proceeded to give them another shot, and took it in for another alignment. I took a minute to speak with the rep and explain my issues with the poor alignment job done by them before, and even showed him the new camber kit, and went over the torque specs while we BOTH looked at the manual that came with the kit. After spending almost 2-1/2 hours waiting patiently for my car to be done, the guy at the counter finally calls to me and says they`re all done. He explains that my toe in/out and my camber have been corrected and are PERFECT. I trusted them once again, and left happy THINKING they did me right this time. Boy was I wrong. They LIED about the camber being correct, as when I looked over the specs they printed out, I realized the camber was still off by SEVERAL DEGREES. In fact, I had negative camber on one side, and positive on the other!! My wheels were sitting diagonally! Not only was it off, they didn`t even adjust it AT ALL!! And the rep was even going off about how they made sure to tighten the bolts to the spec we spoke about earlier, when THEY NEVER EVEN TOUCHED THEM! On top of that, the toe in/out in the rear was off by SEVERAL DEGREES. And it doesn`t stop there. They didn`t adjust the caster AT ALL either. That was also off by almost TWO DEGREES. On the ride home I noticed that the car pulled like a B**** to the right, and wandered all over the road, making it EXTREMELY difficult to track straight. The rep then tried to blame this on my TIRES!! COME ON! To make a long story short, they didn`t correct my toe in/out, didn`t even TOUCH my camber or caster, LIED straight to my face and told me they were PERFECT, and then tried to sell me some BS line about my tires that I just bought causing all my problems. It`s too bad that they ASSUMED that I was naive about auto mechanical work, and didn`t know what I was talking about. My car left there WORSE then it was when I brought it in. At least before I could drive it in a straight line.

Horrible Business Practice
This particular Brakes Plus has shady business practice; brought vehicle in for inspection then without consultation did the work. I caution anybody going to this business especially if you`re female; seems they take advantage of not being vehicle savy. Also, don`t bother making an appointment; they won`t honor the time and I sat there for 2 hours before they pulled the vehicle in for "inspection".

Overpriced
Went in because our car just started to squeak on one of the front tires. They told me I needed new calipers, four brakes, and a rotor. Wanted almost 600 bucks with tax. I told them to lower to car. Talked them down to two brakes and a rotor. Everything seems to be working fine and no more squeak. But take your brakes to a personal mechanic, they probably wont overcharge.

Better than others ...
When another Brakes Plus store`s technicians misdiagnosed a camber problem, this very experienced alignment technician determined that there was no camber problem and no costly repair was needed. Instead there was just a minor toe-in situation easily corrected. Hat`s off to the proficiency of this store`s technicians obviously earning my repeat business.
