Very knowledgeable, always friendly, and reasonably priced: those are keywords for Subapros. We`ve been customers for over a year now, and we plan to continue being so. We have four older subis that are running strong thanks to the talented efforts of the Subapros mechanics. The other two are used less but are just as reliable. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate customer schedules and needs. They stand behind their work and only use Subaru parts. The benefit of their focus on one make of car is that they know the various models inside and out. We are very glad to have found Subapros!

I`ve been taking my 2001 Subaru

I`ve been taking my 2001 Subaru Forester to Subapros for the last couple of years, after my prior mechanic of many years let me down. I went to Subapros for what I thought was a clutch problem - and it was - a non Subaru clutch had been installed prior. I also had them do what I call the 100,000 mile makeover - a detailed run through of the engine - at the same time. She ran better than she had since I bought her in ... view more2006!! Then, sadly, my Ru was in a bad wreck last year. I was sure she`d be totalled, but values had risen, and she was saved - by Subapros. When I went to pick her up, she looked better than ever. I actually didn`t recognize my own car! In March of this year I took her in for a starting problem that refused to repeat itself for me or them. However - the other odd noises I`d been hearing were a transmission on the verge of death, open boots, and a few other things. They put in a rebuilt transmission and fixed everything else, saving me from having to buy axles (which would have been next if those boots had not been replaced). Losing an axle while driving is extremely dangerous - it`s happened to me twice in other non-Subaru vehicles. The starting problem finally repeated itself in April. That was a quick fix - two days before I had to drive her 2200 miles in a two week period for a family medical emergency. She performed beautfiully. The rebuilt transmission lost some teeth in fourth gear - for reasons unknown to any of us - and they promptly rebuilt it, with no charge to me. They honor their warranties, stand behind their work - and Don even fixed my heat shield (notoriously noisy on these cars) at no charge since I had to bring her back. The point is NOT that I had to bring her back. Weird things can happen to any car. The real point is that Don runs a great shop, and I would not hesitate to recommend Subapros to anyone with any type of Subaru. I won`t take my car anywhere else. They use only Subaru parts - no after market nonsense. The Subaru brakes I had them put in function far more effectively - and more safely - than the non-Subaru brakes that I had put in at a brake shope. You really can`t go wrong witih Subapros! Are they cheap? No more than any other shop. Are they a great value? YES - real Subaru parts by real Subaru mechanics. Whether regular maintenance or something more complicate - my car`s heart belongs to Don!

We`ve been taking our Subaru here for years and have been thrilled with our service. We started with having the engine in our 99 Legacy SUS replaced and have been repeat customers ever since. We`ve gotten everything from new tires to oil changes there and have always been pleased with the service. They are quick with the service and the car always runs better than new when we get it back!

I just wanted to help other people know

I just wanted to help other people know that might get taken by this business, these people are crooks. I had an 2.5 L engine that needed to be rebuilt and I trusted subapro, to complete the task. Bad idea, what these crooks failed to realize is I work as a mechanic and have been a master mechanic for the passed 15 years. I just needed them to rebuild the engine, because I don`t have access to a machine shop for the ... view morehoning process required to put larger pistons, and the ability to grind the valve seats. When I brought the engine to them it had a brand new factory timing set installed and I told them that it was new. When i arrive to pick up the engine the bill was another $1000 then what I was told and after getting the engine back for install, I noticed that bolts where missing and the block I drop off was not the one I brought for rebuild the bottom end was not even rebuilt at all and they tried sell me a new timing belt. trust me this is not a reparable shop, bunch of crooks.

Best Sale/Service I`ve Ever had with Cars

06/09/2011 We purchased a 2000 Subaru Legacy in Dec. 2010 and loved it. After a few months a small problem with hesitation and then stalling problems got worse. Don and his amazing crew worked to diagnose the problem and ended up replacing the engine at no charge. I loved that they always return calls promptly and answered all my questions.
