Reviews:
I had a flat tire due to a nail puncture (Bridgestone WS-50 snow tire). They explained that the tire was ruined and couldn`t be fixed because the sidewall had delaminated. So far so good.
Next they explain that they couldn`t replace the tire because it had been discontinued. I needed tires so I had all 4 replaced. They went on to explain how the Bridgestone REVO1 is a much bet... view moreter tire than my old WS-50s. I suggested the Bridgestone LM-25s or the Bridgestone LM-22s because these were performance snow tires but they insisted that the REVO1s were going to be the better choice.
I drove the car to work the next day and it was handling a little sloppy so I stopped to check the tire pressure. The rear tires were a full 10 psi under the recommended inflation...but here`s the kicker. I`m looking at the tire when I see the marking WS-50 on the sidewall. So, not only had they not given me the superior REVO1, but the WS-50s hadn`t been discontinued either.
To add to all this, I paid $145/tire.
I`m not sure why they had to be deceptive. I think it`s instinctual for some people.
Thanks,
