They kept the vehicle all day long as opposed to two hours. I picked it up and drove down the street only to find the vehicle was not aligned at all. So, I calle... view mored and made a second appointment. Again, the shop kept the vehicle all day. I picked it up a second time. Same thing. Still not aligned. I called a third time. The manager asked me what road I was driving on because the roads are crowned in Denver.
At this point, I took the vehicle to two shops for more opinions. I was shocked to find out that the vehicle needs $1200 worth of work to the front end. Both shops said there is no way that my vehicle can be aligned without substantial front end work. I called Station/ Truckstop again. The manager quite bluntly said `I am in the business to make money. You need to bring it back for me to see it again`. Okay. And I did.
The Station/ Truckstop mechanic said it CANNOT be aligned without substantial front end work. Time and miles have worn out the front end. I even asked their mechanic if I somehow did this damage driving around town. He said no and was surprised the other mechanic missed it.
In my attempt to get a refund, I have been delayed for WEEKS. No return calls. Nothing. Finally, I was told today that I can call the owner BUT we have completed the work and we will not refund your money. I have placed a call to the owner. Again, nothing.
I now get to dispute the charge with credit card company, file a complaint and start warning people to avoid this shop. The entire process has been absurd. Save the headache and the money.
Every time I have take my car in they have been fair and to the point. One time I left with a repair I was not satisfied with, but ... view moreupon returning it they made good. Granted I did not go to them with a super basket case of a car (to the reviewer with the grand cherokee taking his worn out pile to a foreign car specialist) but they have kept my audi in tip top shape at a cost totally consistent with a sensible upkeep budget.
Was told manager Santana would call me back 3 times.
