Bad experience all the way around!
Robert is the most rude unprofessional individual I`ve ever dealt with. I took my BMW to Bavarian Autohaus because we had damaged oil return hoses. Robert kept the car for almost a month stating that he was unable to locate new hoses anywhere in the state. Every time I came by to check the progress of the work he had an excuse why he hadn`t worked on the car. I took the search on myself and located the hoses off of S... view moreante Fe & Titan rd. which I personally picked up and paid for. I took the hoses to Robert. Another few weeks went by...Finally after a frustrating longer than necessary wait, he finished the car. My balance for the work was $900.00. I protested the fee and he instantly became enraged. He threatened to keep the car, told me that he would only take cash because he didn`t accept my kind of money. After throwing a complete tantrum, he verbally assaulted my wife and I, he refused payment of any source except for ""Cash"". He threatened to keep the vehicle and back charge us a storage fee. I called the police to mediate the matter. The police came out, apparently not the first time and nearly arrested Robert for assault. Here`s the real kicker...A week after getting the car back, apparently the hoses were misrouted when installed which caused a fire and more damage. This was a very frustrating and expensive experience.

No communication, no service, no work! 8 months without our vehicle
Our BMW 328i had the engine die on us in FEBRUARY. It was towed to Bavarian Autohaus to assess and fix the problem. The owner, Robert, said that he would look for a replacement engine for us and that the repair could cost between $7k and $8k depending on the replacement engine. He told us that he could not find an engine and would start charging us $100/mo for storage until he found one. This is pure fiction abou... view moret him not finding an engine - do the search yourself and see how quickly you can find a replacement engine. Robert never looked for an engine to repair our vehicle (by his own admission in front of the police officers). We have contacted BMW`s customer service department via the internet to find another shop that would be willing to do the work after waiting for months for Robert`s shop to give us ANY communication regarding the vehicle. About a week ago (End of SEPTEMBER), he left us a message on voice mail telling us that we needed to ""settle our bill"" or we would be sent to collections. We have now had to pay for storage of the vehicle without him actually doing any of the work necessary to fix it or looking for an engine. It is now October, and we are going to take our BMW somewhere else at the recommendation of BMW`s Customer Satisfaction department. The first 3 months delay was due to Robert`s own personal family issues preventing him from working on the vehicle, and the remaining 4 has been his simple neglect to repair the vehicle. The only communication we have received with Bavarian Autohaus in the past 4 months was the voice mail advising us that we needed to pay or face collections. Robert`s side of the story is that we never authorized him to do the repair. We had to call the police because he would not accept a $400 cashier`s check and insisted on CASH. You know something is wrong when the police officer says ""I`m getting really sick of coming here."" Civil records are public records. Do your own research before trusting him.
