Unprofessional and Rude

I purchased a car here and was utterly disappointed in the way my family and I were treated. The guy who sold us the car was not only rude to us but to his wife as well. He did the whole deal with his fly down and proceded to raise his voice with me several times. Once when I said I needed my mechanic to take a look at the car before anything was finalized. If there is nothing wrong with the vehicles then there should be no problem with my mechanic checking it out. Be causious with this guy!

Horrible place to buy a car

I am so furious writing this, it will be hard to stay coherent. I found a Jeep I had always wanted from this place, so I purchased it. Rear differential had just been repaired by High Plains Transmission. Got the Jeep home, and there was no end to the puddles of leaks on my driveway. Got the rear differential fixed and the transfer case fixed by High Plains Transmission (for a small fee), but then took the Jeep to a ... view moreJeep dealership to get an oil change and an alignment and overall inspection. The list they came back with for repairs was insane. $96 for a headlight out. $86 for a transmission cooler line repair. $229 for a transmission pan leak/fluid change. $85 for some park neutral safety switch leak. $65 for the coolant sensor sending unit. $213 for a coolant leak/new thermostat/gasket/housing. $325 for the driver`s side heated seat malfunction repair. And finally, the weather stripping for each of the 4 doors was $154 that needed repair. Only one was really bad, but all needed replacing. This was all ON TOP of my alignment and oil change which was already $130 or so. Upset, I called Richard Stephenson to see if he wouldn`t mind helping with SOME of the repairs like the LEAKS. He was absolutely rude and unprofessional on the phone and tried hanging up on me several times and eventually did. I couldn`t believe how rude he was. I told him I understand it`s a used car, and I understand it has 99,000 miles, but you shouldn`t sell a car with LEAKS. I told him, I can live with a bad alignment, headlight out, coolant sensor failure, heated seat failure, etc. But the LEAKS are of concern and I don`t think you should sell ANY car, regardless of make/model/year/mileage with leaks. I think LEAKS are like emissions issues and should be fixed before selling the car. I don`t care if it`s leaking oil, transmission fluid, coolant, power steering, whatever... it`s just not right to sell someone a car with problems. I paid over $6000 for this nice Jeep and now it`s going to cost me another $1000 at least in repairs. I can understand Richard not wanting to help, but he could have been a little more professional or nice about it, instead of being absolutely rude and hanging up the phone on me. I will definitely be telling people to stay away from this place.
