My family and I have used Rivera Auto

My family and I have used Rivera Auto for almost 20 years now, and they`ve worked on everything from my beat up old Toyota hatchback to my parents` new Maximas and Rav 4. My parents still use Rivera`s whenever possible, even though they`ve moved out of town. Mike is amazing, professional and patient with explaining everything to me (and since I`m just learning car-ownership, I`ve asked about rates, work hours, parts... view more, etc. He answers everything.), and he`s committed to staying within his quoted prices for a job. His work has never failed any of our cars in 20 years, we`ve never had to have anything re-fixed, and he has never increased his quoted price. I trust him entirely with my car and as I`ve moved around and had to go to other mechanics in the country, I`ve never found his equal in quality service at a fair price. He`s the mechanic I recommend to everyone!

Great Service.... Fair pricing

This company has been in their location for 30 years.... that says a lot. I took my jeep in while having transmission problems... You have to expect that with 160,000 miles.. but these guys were great.. got it in and out in one day, didnt have to do a complete rebuild only replace some senspors and flush the transmission. Thought the pricing was fair.. and the Jeep Cherokee runs like new. Dont hesitate to give ... view morethese guys your business.

Ex Auto Mechanic

i`ve been going to Rivera Auto for years and i just found out he has been putting used parts in my vehicles. i had a universal joint break and my drive line fell down, so i called him and he got me towed to his shop and said he replaced my Universal joints. i had my transmission rebuilt a month later and the transmission shop told me, i needed u joints and i told him i just had them replaced and he said no because th... view moree new ones come with a different kind of clip. so apparently he got a drive line from a junk yard and put it on. i`m a courier so i`ve used him to fix about 4 or 5 of my cars over the years, and have spent thousands of dollars there, but never again. i have to find another place now. also the time before, my truck needed ball joints and ty rod ends. i ordered the parts from ebay and took them to him to him to put on. the problem is that the parts i took to him was all the front end. instead of using just the parts it needed, he put all the parts on and charged me $1,600 for that. i supplied the parts, so that was just for labor. i ate that one cause i thought it was my fault cause i should have told him to use only what the truck needed, and i didn`t, but i shouldn`t have had to tell him. who know how many times he`s screwed me on the other vehicles i`ve taken to them

they destroyed the mountaing holes for the starter and rebuilt the carb witch started leaking the week later i had to replace the whole engine and i had to get it towed from tower and 56th ave to their shop
